"Love the Paperback Tavern! We booked a river view in hopes to watch the fireworks for the 4th. And while we couldn’t see them from our room we were about to sit right across the road with a great view without being in an overly crowded area. Parking is a little pricey but that’s most places in Boston. Easy to get in and out of. "

"The hotel itself is very good. The facilities and staff are excellent—very kind and helpful. They offer free breakfast, and everything was generally great. The hotel does provide a shuttle service to key areas, which is helpful. The only downside is that the surrounding area has a noticeable homeless presence and it’s close to a hospital, so there’s quite a bit of noise from ambulances and emergency activity. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful. I especially appreciated that I was staying there on my daughter’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly placed a beautiful bouquet of flowers in our room that made the day even more special. We truly enjoyed our stay and are very grateful."
