"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. "

"If you need somewhere to stay in a tranquil setting then look no further than the left luggage office. It is a little gem. It has everything you need for a really comfortable stay and more. We have stayed at many excellent rentals but can honestly say that this was the best. Ruth and Paul were in touch to ascertain we had everything we needed and had no problems and their welcome gift was a lovely touch and much appreciated"

"Lovely week away, excellent location walks from the door step, accommodation may needs little updating but we would return."

"Good touring base. Convenient for what needed. It’s an exposed spot which meant more wind at night than we would have liked but everything else was fine. No complaints either the caravan."

"Lovely cozy quiet cottage in a beautiful area."

"A lovely stay, very clean, with good kitchen facilities. "
