Prefect location for exploring Old Port and the rest of Marseille. I had a room with a view of the harbor and Norte Dame cathedral; truly a room with a view. The hotel is older and showing its age in the dated red carpets, however, it is clean and well maintained. Has a nice lounge area and an outdoor cafe. The main reason to stay here is the location and views. Across the street are the boats that take you to Chateau d’If and the Calanque coastline; Calanque is definitely worthwhile trip. Multiple restaurants and the main Canabiere boulevard are steps away.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. There were some hiccups like our key not working and an early fire alarm but overall our stay was great. The staff made it the best so we want to thank all and let everyone know we appreciated the kindness shown which made our stay very memorable.

Beautiful old hotel with an amazing history of guest including Napoleon. Maintained to a high standard. Nice breakfast and even better evening meal in the main restaurant. You need to book dinner as they do not have many tables. The staff were amazingly helpful and polite. A great stay and perfect location for site seeing the Avignon.

GREAT boutique like hotel. The rooms were beautifully furnished, lots of incredible details throughout. We loved it! Breakfast was FANTASTIC on the first day with lots of variety, but the 2nd and 3rd but there was a staff change for Sunday and Monday and boy you could see the difference. Tables were left uncleaned, very low on food assortment... it was kind of a bummer since they charge $18 a guest. I was told on Sunday and Mondays not to expect much since there is limited staff on duty. Other than that It was fantastic! The staff at the front dest, especially Anna was just fabulous! We will definitely stay here again!

I booked this hotel largely because of its Michelin rated restaurant. Turns out the restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays. This information was nowhere to be found on the website or in the confirmation email. We had to taxi to another town to obtain any sort of meal. We were really looking forward to the dining experience on our last day in the country. Otherwise, the hotel was quite nice.
