The room had a very nice view of the Stockyard area. The room didn’t have a fridge and the sink leaked.

We love The Stockyards! This is our second year visiting. Really good food, shopping and pubs with great live music. My two cautions are: they roll up the sidewalks at dark so far as food and shopping. There will be little if any food available after 10p. We lucked out with a late night pizza at Billy Bob's. Secondly, breakfast options are very limited. The Biscuit Bar is awesome, tho!

I have always wanted to stay at The Stockyards Hotel. If you have any desire to take a step back in time, this is the place! The most difficult part was parking. Once I figured out you just have to double park on the street, put on your flashers and either wait for a valet or go in to check in all was good. The Valets were the best. Very kind, polite and helpful. The front desk staff could take some lessons from the valets. Otherwise, I would say this should be a bucket list item for anyone cisiting Fort Worth Stockyards!

Loved the history of this hotel. The staff was excellent and welcoming. Since it is an old building, there was some noise but overall a very fun place to stay. We were upgraded to a suite and the extra space was very nice.

History. you can look out your window on stockyard row (main st) & see everything. Very busy on weekends, for younger people. I like staying Sunday thru Thursday for older people. Parking is hard to find but they do have valet. Also, get to see cattle drive goes right by the hotel daily.

The Stockyard Hotel is on my list of must do's. I've walked through it, eaten at the H3 Restaurant and had drinks at Booger Reds. It is very clean, the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again only longer.

Worth staying at for the ambience and convenience of being in the middle of FW Stockyards. Older hotel staff are friendly and courteous. The younger ones on reception give a vibe of not caring much at all. Room was nice. H3 bar and restaurant attached is very good indeed. I’d stay again if visiting Stockyards. Valet parking a bit pricey but very convenient, given the location.

We won’t be staying here again. Extremely noisy, rude staff, hotel was dirty, and there were issues with the plumbing and we didn’t have running water in our room. Hotel offered no apologies or consideration for the lack of water.

The Stockyards Hotel is an amazing property with tons of history filling every nook and cranny. I could feel it as I walked through the door. Most of the original design is still apparent which is amazing and appreciated. We will stay again.

This 100 year old cow town hotel has so much character and history. Absolutely love the going back in time feel. This hotel has everything you need however it is in serious need of a makeover especially with the high end Dover Hotel down the street. From my viewpoint, a room rate today of less than $200 would be fine. Over that which we paid is not warranted today.

Hello Chloe,The last time the hotel had renovations was the mid 1990s. Which is why many rooms in the hotel do not have many amenities. Thank you for your honest review.

For a first trip to Forth Worth, this is the place to stay! Right in the thick of the historic area and walkable to everything! Would definitely stay here again. But if you are looking or a quieter stay, this is not it. We loved that everything was decorated in the stockyards theme however small things could be upgraded such as bathroom fixtures and electric receptacles (most were not tight and sometimes didn’t work).

Love the ambiance of the hotel. But there was no one to help with luggage. My room could have been cleaner. There was some sort of plastic wrap on the floor in the bathroom and my coffee cup wasn’t clean. But the worse thing was the sink would not drain. We told manager but it was not resolved.
