This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though.
The Inn is so charming and welcoming. We felt at home, particularly in our grand family room and the pub and restaurant. At check in, we had the opportunity to add breakfast and received information about dinner, making everything so seamless. However, let me back up to the amazing short ferry ride that delivered us to the front door of the Inn. Our room included separated spaces for a bed I shared with my spouse, with a wall separating us from the kids. We had great breezes from the window with the sounds of waves in the loch and sea gulls singing us to sleep. The bed proved comfortable and the toilet is very nice with a fantastic shower. The signage in the older building helped us find our way, so we had a grand time walking through our room to the pub. (It was great to be able to see England win to move onto the next level in the World Cup too). We enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks in the pub while having nice conversation with other guests and the staff. Our breakfast proved absolutely divine and entertaining with sheep running past the window down the street. This is a community we hope to come back and explore. We absolutely loved the charming Inn and the surrounding Glencoe area. Thank you for the hospitality and great accommodations.
Quirky traditional Scottish hotel with the fun of a 5 minute Ferry ride to reach it. Really friendly staff. Rooms a little dated and tired but very clean. Bar and food were good and views down the Loch fantastic. Highly recommend
Cute hotel with a great view. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. It was a quiet place until the ferry across the road started running in the morning. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back and stay here.

Arrival by ferry - nowhere to eat nearby except at hotel. Breakfast ok. Water stops in the middle of shower. Friendly waiter from Norwich, England.
Un lieu a part où règne une atmosphère de sérénité dans un établissement familial où nous sommes reçu avec sourire et hospitalité.
Un lieu de vie ou passé les locaux ,comme les touristes bref un vrai plaisir qui a enchanté notre voyage
The Inn is in a great location - directly opposite as you get off the ferry, amazing views, and we enjoyed a long walk around Ardgour directly from the Inn. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed our time there.
Nice wee hotel, right by the ferry. Plenty parking.
Very peaceful, although some vehicles pass at an astonishing pace for what is actually a 20mph limit.
The room was a reasonable size. As it was facing the Koch, there was a great view. The only downside was that the early morning ferries floodlight the hotel!
Staff were friendly and accommodating - especially to our wee dog 🙂
Had to get on a ferry to get to this place which wasn't noted anywhere on the check-in or website. That added $20 to an ready expensive room. That was small and somewhat beat up. But on the positive side the dinner was excellent?
Hotel was great. Yes it is dated but the service makes up for the outdated accommodations. Rachel was so gracious. The food was outstanding both for dinner and the complimentary full breakfast. Would definitely recommend. And to the owners. Rachel is what made our experience so great without her it would have been mediocre.
