This property served its purpose, but that is about it. The host was very friendly and helpful, but the property is hardly a B&B. There is no common area, not check in area, you just push the ring doorbell and he meets you. The room was comfortable, fairly clean. The breakfast was mainly to go items in a large picnic box. Overall, everything was fine, but for the price and advertisement I would say slightly disappointing. Although the location was phenomenal.

The room with ensuite was decorated with old style Scottish charm. Everything we could wish for, a selection of teas and biscuits, and even hot chocolate and heater that worked. Spotless and functional, we enjoyed our stay, and we loved the 2 breakfast packages left outside our door before our early morning departure. Thank you dear host.

Perfect host!

Short stop, just spent the night. Excellent service from the host with extremely late checkin due to traffic and road works. Even made us a filling breakfast although not originally included.

This was week 2 of owner taking on the property ...once we knew this a lot of things made sense. Had the comfiest bed and slept well both nights, lots of hot water too. We also were given a breakfast hamper that he was trying out , and that was a creative way to provide breakfast ...so good thinking. we were lucky to be chosen as guinea pigs. Definately work in progress for the accomodation....and good luck .

We appreciated the location of our stay and the helpfulness of the owner/manager. The room we had in this B&B was good value for money for anyone willing to compromise on space, mattress comfort, quality of breakfast.

We liked our stay at Fassifern B&B. The staff was friendly and helpful with our requests. This venue is well located nearby the train and bus station as well as the High Street of Fort William. We got every morning our breakfast boxes delivered to our room and complementary expresso from the owner.

Unfortunately the bathroom could do with a re paint as there was mold on the ceiling. The owner seemed surprised to see us ?? And the bedroom door was dirty. Good location. You have breakfast in your bedroom from a box .

This is very much a hostel for the price of a hotel. The front door was unlocked (and remained so the entire stay) upon arrival and there was no front desk or check in area. You are essentially walking into someone’s (messy) home. We eventually knocked on the door labeled private and a confused woman said to go to the open room with the key in the door- did not confirm our name, reservation number, or anything. I asked about parking, as the street parking available mentioned being permit required, and was handed the woman’s personal cell phone to speak with “the owner”. “The owner” assured me it was not a big deal but could provide us the permit in person in “20 minutes to an hour”. Not wanting to waste our trip awaiting this unnamed person, we asked them to leave the permit under our door and message us through the Expedia app when this was done. The shower in room was an ADVENTURE. You had to pull a string to start the water, slide the glass shower door that opened inwards, and navigate a box in shower with 2 knobs. The water was either ice cold or molten hot, and we just had to speed run our shower and alternate between the two temperatures. I will say the breakfast provided was yummy- lots of snack items, fruit, granola, yogurt. Unfortunately there was no space to eat in the room other than the bed (there was also no common kitchen/dining area we could have gone to alternatively). Overall we did not feel entirely safe staying here and would not recommend.

La chambre n’est pas grande toutefois très propre. Il n’y a pas d’espace libre où on peut aller relaxer ni de salle à manger. Le déjeuner est une boîte contenant pâtisserie, fruits et yogourt que nous avons mangé dans notre chambre. Tahiti nous a conseillé pour les soupers et nos sorties dans la région.
