Very short walk (less than 1 minute) over the dune to the beautiful beach. Need to take stairs/ramp down to the beach, not accessible at peak high tide, but this isn't a problem. Long beatiful beach, perfect for walking the dog, or a run to Fort Baldwin. Downtown Bath is about 25 minutes away, lots of shops, grocery, coffee, etc. Perfect space for our Bernese Mountain Dog - we even joined the annual Berner's in Bath gathering! Cabin was a bit chilly in October, as expected, but the gas heater removed the chill. Sunrise from the bedroom window is a must see!! Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen were well equiped and very clean - a bit of sand near the front door in unavoidable. Wonderful stay, thank you to our hosts!"
