Unobstructed panoramic views of the beach, ocean and Seguin & Pond lighthouses at renowned Popham Beach. Private beach access. Great home for two - three families or extended family to share. Beach front with spectacular water views from most rooms. This home sits on 1.3 acres of private land ( exclusive for your use) but it is part of an association. Steps to miles of sand. Listen to the waves as you fall asleep. Have your morning coffee from one of two decks overlooking the sea and islands. Close to Fort Popham. Formerly part of Ocean View Cottages and Campground. WiFi and cable. Please note cell phone coverage in the area is poor. We do have a landline and free long-distance calling. Open year round. Spend Thanksgiving or Christmas here with your family. Popham Beach is beautiful any time of the year. All guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent. This home is part of an association and rules set by the association must be adhered to. No Unit Owner shall obstruct or interfere with the rights of other occupants or annoy them by unreasonable noise or otherwise. 3\. No Unit Owner shall use the Common Elements or Limited Common Elements for any activity that would obstruct or deter views, ingress or egress by other Unit Owners or guests or invitees Boats longer than 12 feet, motor homes, campers, trailers of any kind, tents, shacks, sheds or other outbuildings are not allowed on the property. Storage for boats less than 12 feet, dinghies, kayaks and paddle boards shall be within the Unit Owners Limited Common Element and not obstruct the view of any other Unit owner No trash, rubbish or other offensive materials or materials degrading in appearance shall be allowed to exist on the Units or Common Elements excluding any area designated for trash and/or recycling by the Association. This home has a limit of 12 guests at any time in the home or on the property. This includes day guests on the beach. Please note. The layout was open and someone could be cooking and still enjoy conversations with others. The porches invited time for games or a quiet place to read. The house stayed at a comfortable temperature even when it was warm outside. Grandparents, parents, and teenagers were all happy to be together in this house and on the beach. If you've ever walked Popham Beach, you'll recognize this house. It is a beautiful new home with beach front decks and porches. The open floor plan was perfect and you could hear the waves crashing on the beach. Just wonderful. The kitchen is well outfitted, including a countertop french door convection oven, crockpot, large pot for lobsters and all the cooking items you would need. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, nice linens and a washer & dryer. The house is clean and on the beach--but there is a strong mold smell as soon as you open the door. Sadly, my son has mold allergies and we had to go home, he couldn't breathe. We tried to explain nicely to the manager but she was brusque and unpleasant. We had to forfeit our whole payment. Gorgeous Beach Side Location! Spent five nights (in late April) at this stunning house. Check-in was easy. The owner provided check-in information in advance. The location is perfect: on Popham beach, with direct access (and direct, stunning views) of the beach/water/waves and distant lighthouses. The house has five bedrooms (plus a nook off the master bedroom with a crib) and 2.5 baths. The kitchen is very well-appointed. There's nothing missing (and actually there are multiples of things like fruit/potato peelers and meat thermometers). Overall, an absolutely wonderful house. Wi-fi works well. Cell service (at least during our stay) was fine. Bath is only 25-28min away, where you can find a Shaw's, Walgreens, CVS, etc. The closer general store (Bisson's) is a good stop for beer, canned goods, and some staples but not really viable for a "stock the fridge" grocery trip. Finally, the beach is amazing. Wide and expansive during low tide and mid-tide. Easy, pleasant walk to Fort Popham. Overall, a terrific home. I highly recommend it. ##### Harvey Y. The home was plenty big enough for all of us. Very clean and had all the essentials we needed. The beach was perfect for the kids (the older ones even went in the water and it was cold!). We enjoyed four days listening to the sounds of the waves from the house and walking the beach. The house was incredible with views of the ocean from almost every room. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The views from the house were unbelievable- truly breathtaking. It was so nice to be able to walk out the door and go for a walk on the beach. The house is very clean, has all you need, and is beautiful. The house is a close walk to the beach, close to Fort Popham, and Popham Beach State Park. All the information a renter would wish to have was there if we needed it. The home is beautiful for a family to gather and also to have niches of privacy. Velvety blankets provided luxury to quiet time. The quality of the kitchen and its supporting items made for lovely preparation of meals. And, of course, the beach! With the partial berm, a secluded aspect gives extra comfort to the beach home. With strong south winds, a few days showed us big breakers and gave us windy walks. Everything was perfect . The view of the beach from the house is marvelous , our kids were able to go and play / walk on the beach for hours.
