The backyard pool area is vast, secluded and fenced for quiet enjoyment of the pool and other amenities. Only two streets south of your oasis is Commercial blvd where you'll be walking to go to dinner, get some oysters, beer & cocktails, ice cream, pizza, sushi, drinks etc... its super convenient to the bustle while providing you a quiet oasis. And did I say, the beach is only a couple-blocks away! The property is expansive with over 4000 total sq ft. and is made up of two adjacent apartments with separate entrances all under one roof. There are no other apartments - you get everything (description below)! This is the place that defines South Florida living. Imagine yourself in a sunny residence nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just a 5-minute (two-block) walk to the beach. Lauderdale by the Sea is a unique enclave where beach access is easy and even walking to the grocery store is convenient. LBTS is the exact opposite of the mess of massive high rises and lack of beach access you will experience in most of Fort Lauderdale. But don't worry! We are not all lazy walks and quiet beaches- we are located two streets north of the bustling Commercial Boulevard which is lined with all kinds of indoor/ outdoor dining options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and dessert! Publix, Walgreens, Walgreens liquor and more are also just a short walk away. Even though walkable, we have golf cart available for rent on a first come, first served basis. The cost: $60/day when rented as an add on during booking (rate increases if done afterwards). Golf cart is due back by check-out and must be rented for your entire stay. At the beach, you can enjoy the beautiful sand and surf, walk the pier, fish, sign up for water sports, and snorkel or scuba out to the famous nearby coral reef. You will encounter surfers, pier fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and kite surfing right there. The beach is only two blocks/ five minutes if you walk at a leisurely clip, from the property. On a quiet, residential feeling You get everything below: 232 Neptune: Bedroom 1: Nicely appointed, recently renovated bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, wall mounted smart TV, plantation shutters and impact windows. Bedroom 2: Same as Bedroom 1 except without en-suite bathroom. There is a bath right outside the door. Bedroom 3 (suite): This is really a studio apartment with an open bedroom / sitting area with a bonus pull-out sofa, smart TV, bathroom & kitchen. These are great quarters for the parents/in-laws in the group or for the kids to pile in - this suite has everything one needs. This bedroom also has its own rear building exit and driveway and easy access to the backyard and pool through the fence gate, so you may want to put people in here that don't mind family traffic to the pool . There are three bathrooms total in this unit., a full kitchen, a kitchenette and a free laundry room. 222 neptune: Bedroom 1 which is a nicely appointed, recently renovated bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, wall mounted smart TV, and impact windows, with direct access to the pool and backyard. Bedroom 2 also nicely appointed, recently renovated bedroom with a wall mounted smart TV and impact windows. There are 2 baths, one pull out couch in the great room and two day beds in the sun-room, full kitchen and a laundry room and a half bath in the laundry room for this unit. Additionally: Private access to everything, including both units, the entire back-yard, two tiki-huts, and heated pool (solar). The pictures did not do this property justice, it's much better in person. The hosts were responsive and proactive. We had a large party and there was a ton of room and the rooms were updated and clean. The location is also perfect, with walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and places nearby. Between both units there was plenty of room for everyone. The extra towels, beach supplies and the ice machine were a great plus! The outdoor area was huge, with plenty of chairs. Super close to the downtown and beach, walkable to the grocery store but the golf cart made it much easier to handle groceries! Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Access to golf cart was nice for groceries. Plenty of space for us to spread out and sleep. The backyard was spacious and perfect for a large group. There was more than enough seating for everyone and it was private. Both units were large and the studio suite worked out great for our group. The house was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and had everything that we could have needed and more! We stayed at Eden's Reef for my friend's bachelorette party with 16 girls! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, and the common spaces had plenty of seating for us to gather. Mike and Shana were very responsive with any question that I had. The backyard area is perfect! We loved the decor inside as well and the rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows for us as well. Shana and Mike have thought of everything one could need to make their stay even better! We were extremely appreciative of the care and thought that went into making sure we had the things we needed. We chose this location for its closeness to so many things and it did not disappoint! Anytime we needed to reach Shana and Mike, they were extremely responsive. We were blessed with beautiful weather which helped us enjoy all that LBTS has to offer ! The beach is a short walk and one can lallygag there and stop at shops or restaurants on the way. The property was fantastic and spacious; well done updates! All the bathrooms are refreshed/remodeled. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The kitchens are well stocked. The pool and outdoor area are truly fabulous. You could actually just live out on the patio. We will keep this property on our places to visit again someday!
