Rustic, but wonderful during the storm--great sleep! Struggled a bit with the fire and the shower, but host came to help. Off-grid, if that's your vibe. Quirky and fun. Great location for exploring the Hoh area.
We loved staying at the Hoh Chalet. It was very comfortable, peaceful and felt wonderful being there. Diane was very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.
Appreciated having the kitchen. So enjoyed the chanterelles and smoked salmon we purchased in the “Jam Shack.” Delicious! The location was great for visits to Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rain Forest. Loved Diane’s creativity in her work on the chalet—up cycled materials used including the mosaic tile work in the bathroom & the fabulous wood stove made from water main pipe. The chalet was indeed cozy—thank you Diane. Quintessential PNW stay
This was a round of firsts for my husband and I. First time using VRBO, first time away in Washington, first visit to the area. The chalet was exactly as stated in the listing. It was really cute and peaceful. The perfect little getaway for the weekend. Good location to a lot of sights. We came for the beaches, and it was a nice short drive. Diane was a great host and very helpful. She did great with the chalet. Honestly, the bathroom floor was probably my favorite part of the entire place.

We enjoyed how close we were to both beaches and hiking. We had a wonderful stay!
Excellent location and accommodations. Very unique design and off grid feel while still close to Ruby Beach and Hall of Mosses. The wood countertops, spiral staircase and one of a kind fire pit patio were highlights for us. The mosaic floors and luxurious bathroom were pleasant surprises and cherished memories. The kitchen was complete and we made a scrumptious breakfast before tidepool discoveries at the beach only minutes away.

Diana is always with prompt response. Like the fireplace the most.
This is a unique property and one of the few available in this area with easy access to Olympics hiking trails. I salute the owner for her work to create this cabin using recycled, repurposed and natural items. The use of solar and wood-fired heating are so suitable for this natural oasis. The on-demand water heater was a surprisingly modern element. We appreciated the huge dispenser of bottled spring water. Owner Dianne greeted us upon arrival and even offered to share a salmon caught by la local tribal fisherman.
Diane was so welcoming and hospitable. Kids loved looking around the property and seeing all of the ways that she has put sustainable, unique touches. We bought a carton of chanterelle mushrooms in the jam shack that were the highlight of our home cooked meal. Thank you Diane!

We had a great stay at the cabin which is located minutes from Ruby beach. Clean, cozy, and cute with great amenities.
I loved this little cabin. It is so cozy and original. It's super peaceful. Host, Diane, was super friendly and welcoming. She even brought us binoculars we had asked about. The location was perfect for going to the beaches and felt safe and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for letting us stay!
