Canal Court Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful stay at the Canal Court Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which is always a bonus when you're travelling with a toddler. Our room was large and clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was just right, with a good mix of continental options and cooked breakfast made to order. The bar had a lovely relaxed atmosphere on Sunday night, with good live music and plenty of space to sit and relax."

"Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Beds are exceptionally comfortable, I kept on sleeping throughout the day and night. Unfortunately, didn’t get to watch the football on the tv as was waiting for the supervisor to come off his break but ended up sleeping, so was probably best and wifi was good enough to watch the more interesting match on my phone."

"Beautiful place, outstanding area. Very easy-going to check in. A place you feel instantly at home. Creaking doors doors in such an old and historic place adds some extra charme. I can only recommend it and give full points"

"Accommodation was amazing. Photographs don't do justice, to how beautiful the accommodation is. Very central, good communication from host. throughout our stay. Central to shops, bars restaurants. Would defenitely recommend."

"We had a fantastic time at Olivia-Leigh Cottage! Olivia is a wonderful host - she sent detailed instructions for the check in process, left a lovely welcome hamper for our arrival, was flexible with our needs on check out day and kindly mailed an item we left behind to us after our stay! The cottage is superb - great location, charming, cosy, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you Olivia!"

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, spacious home in the countryside! There was plenty of room for us all to spread out, with a bedroom and bathroom for each of the five of us. We especially enjoyed the friendly cows in the surrounding field!"
