Our recent family stay at the Plainsman Motel in Forbes was a delightful surprise. After a long drive, pulling up to a clean and inviting motel was exactly what we needed. Stepping inside our room, we were greeted by fresh, crisp white linens – a small touch that made a big difference after a long journey. But the true star of the show was the friendly welcome we received from the staff at the front desk. Their warmth and hospitality instantly put us at ease and made us feel right at home. The Plainsman Motel is a great choice for families seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay in Forbes.

This motel was well prepared even for my early checkin. The rooms were ready with yhe under cover outside door and pool area clean and well maintained. The room has everything you'd want. The water is brilliant as itstreated by a massive softening system i spotted imon the way in. It works and therefore the soap and shampoo works. The bed was very comfortable. The location is good with club across the road and a couple of pubs and ships close for dinning options. Ill be back. Great customer service.

Friendly staff, clean facility, good bathroom & kitchen, quiet and well maintained outside. However I found issues with the pillows poor sleep & sore neck. I also booked the room for work space not suited for those needed to do laptop work with lack of PowerPoints, work space area and touch & go WiFi. The owner was kind enough to give me an extension cord and power board to plug in two devices. Overall it was a very friendly experience with a few teething issues that are easily fixed.

Thank you for your review. Our large European pillows are great for 'propping up' to read or watch TV but too high for most to sleep on so prefer the standard pillows also on the beds. On your next visit we must allocate one of our most recently renovated rooms with multiple power and USB outlets at the work bench. Great to meet you and safe travels. Regards, Steve

The lady in charge was very obliging & we were able to access our room hours before actual check in. Have stayed there several times & the service has always been second to none.

Nice beds and sheets with plenty of pillows . Bathroom in some areas could do with a little bit more of a revamp along with the air conditioning but over all it was a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay at The Plainsman Motel. Very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Nil complaints. Will definitely stay here again.

So this may not be the newest or fanciest place to stay in Forbes, but the location is great, it's immaculately clean and the welcome is warm. The little touches, such as generous biccies and takeaway cups and lids for a roadie tea or coffee for our early am departure were much appreciated.

We needed the air conditioner as it was quite warm but it was a little noisy during the sleeping hours. Some rooms in some motels don't leave much opportunity for natural ventilation. From memory I think that this was the case here. A very helpful staff .

The location of the motel is perfect, Due to the recent flooding the property has undergone an extensive repair. New bedding, new flooring etc. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and recommend it

Old and tired 2 bedroom apartment. Water in kitchen didn’t work, something growing in the kettle. Freezer needed defrosting. Windows locks missing and facing alleyway. Uncomfortable 3 seater couch for a room that sleeps 4. Water hammer noise in roof every time neighbours use their taps. The list goes on. Probably the worst motel room I’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t leave fast enough, do not recommend.

I liked the fact that it was on the main highway, i was able to park my vehicle out the front because of it's height and it was located right across from the local Club.
