"Host did a great job preparing the home for my family's stay. Place was clean and ready when we arrived. Host was responsive to any of our needs. The waiting snacks were a nice touch after being on the road a long time. Beds were comfortable - much better than any hotel. Only minor complaint my family had was the bathroom vanity was too tall for my 8 and 6 year old and there was no step stool. We used a wooden bench from living room and it all worked out. Also the 1 car garage wasn't wide enough for my truck, but not a big deal."

"We had a great stay! The house has been beautifully remodeled and was very clean. Great communication with the hosts. One thing to keep in mind for future guests is two of the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor and the staircase to that floor is rather steep. It wasn't an issue as our kids slept up there and my husband and I in our 40's went up multiple times with no issues, just something to keep in mind depending on the age and mobility of the guests in your party. We had a great stay and would definitely book again!"

"Plan to bring your own can opener, if you will need it. Bring your own kleenex, soaps and shampoos. The tv doesn't get local stations---so it is almost impossible to keep up with the state legislature, governor, etc. in the state capitol.The beds had plastic covers on the mattresses and were hot. Good location for getting to our friends in the SW part of Topeka."
