"The property needs a face lift as do the rooms, but it was comfortable enough for one night. Annoying emergency green light above the door that shines straight through the room not making it dark to sleep well. Pillows not comfortable for me too flat"

Disappointed that there seems to be 2 different full English breakfast options offered , one for resident guests and one for paying daily customers. The resident breakfast is not to the same standard . We paid a lot of money for a 2 night stay and the breakfast definitely lets it down. "

"Extremely dog friendly, loved that the dog friendly rooms opened onto the courtyard garden (enclosed). The walks are beautiful/ stunning. Dogs welcome in the restaurants. Highly recommend."

"Everything at the hotel except for a little bit of dust and cobwebs which let it down, I’m sure it was just overlooked on the day,the staff were very friendly and helpful, the position of the hotel was great in easy reach of everywhere, great place to explore the area. Would definitely come again"

"Amazing venue, clean and tidy with friendly staff and good food choices. Breakfast was good, only complaint was that the mattresses felt budget which was a shame considering the rest of the room was lovely. Didn’t sleep so well because of mattress but this may just be our preferences, other than that a great stay."
