Welcome to Marshwinds! This cozy 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is the perfect getaway for up to 6 guests and up to 2 furry companions (pet fees apply). Relax at the community pool or easily head to the downtown Folly Beach area for dining, entertainment, and the beach! The open floor plan and full-length, screened in porch allows for everyone to gather together for meals and easy conversation. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve your family meals. All appliances are updated, complete with a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Serve family style at the 6-person dining table or set up a buffet on the bar area. Relax on the plush couch in the living area, put your feet up, and watch a movie or your favorite show on the flat screen TV. Take in the Low Country breezes off the river and the marsh on the fully screened in porch. Chairs and a small table are provided to have coffee or enjoy a cocktail, play cards, or just sit back and watch the wildlife. Also the perfect place to see the famous Folly sunsets lower in the evening. Screen porch is accessible via the living room and the master bedroom. Wake up refreshed in the king bed each morning to marsh and river views out the large windows in the master bedroom. Then, step out onto the porch from your own access door. Soak in the garden tub in your en suite, full bathroom, also with double vanity, and large walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms are down the hall, each with an attached bathroom so everyone has their own space. Bedroom 2 has one queen bed, small TV, and full bathroom attached includes a tub/shower combination. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The attached, full bathroom has a walk-in shower, and is also accessible from the hallway. All fresh linens and towels are provided for 6 people in the condo. Your beds will be made with clean linens upon arrival, so you can just crawl into bed after a long day of traveling. If you need to do laundry during your stay, there is a full-size washing machine and dryer found in the hallway closet. Check out the community pool to swim and catch some sun! The beach and downtown Folly Beach areas are only a few minute drive away, or you can take a stroll or bike ride just across the walking bridge to everything. The unique, downtown area of Folly Beach has beach shops, markets (select days of week), live music, and try one of our many local restaurants. Restaurants here offer everything from low country seafood to burgers and pizza to oceanfront, higher end dining. Folly Beach County Park on the West End of the island has restrooms and large beach area to spread out, which is a great location to enjoy your beach day! Visit the Morris Island Lighthouse beach on the far East End of the island that is absolutely wow-worthy. Downtown Charleston is also only a 20-25 minute drive, which offers world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks along the water, the aquarium, and much more for added entertainment. Parking is free for guests staying in the complex. 2 Parking passes will be provided as needed. This Unit is not ADA compliant. The HOA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the elevators. Carts are provided by the complex management company to easily take your belongings up to your condo. Full list of condo rules & policies is provided upon check-in. Community Pool typically opens around April 1st and closes on Oct 31st. HOA determines when the pool is open. Amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, free parking, DVD player, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. Home is non-smoking. Pet friendly for up to 2 pets with paid pet fee of $125 plus tax, per pet. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. It was warm and welcoming when we arrived with music and tvs on. The location was ideal and plenty of towels etc. Just one small caveat. I think the listing title should be changed because it’s advertised as River and Marsh view in the listing but then goes on to explain that that there is no longer a view due to recent construction. We weren’t there for the view so for us it was perfect but I think it should be changed. A very short walk over the bridge and you are in downtown. Easy in and out being on first floor and parking was simple. The layout is fantastic. Three bedrooms and each has their own bath. The master bath is very large. Everything we needed was provided and the deck is great to hang out for breakfast or cocktail hour. Plenty of room. Nothing really negative to say just a few small things. The property doesn’t allow pets (bummer). Also,when I arrived I needed to iron clothes for an event the next day and the rental agency only operates during the day so my message at 6pm was answered next day. Had to borrow an iron. Also, I left message when I booked and nobody responded so I had to contact VRBO and get number for rental agency just to get a question answered. A few simple things could easily be addressed like batteries for the clock in kitchen and thermostat. Light over kitchen sink didn’t work. Master bath drain needs adjusting. Not right on the beach, but really close! Perfect location. Close, but not in the hustle and bustle of Folly Beach. Would recommend to anyone, and would also stay again! ##### Justin H. Screened in deck was great and we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and Folly Beach. I gave it a 4 because there was not an ample supply of toilet paper - something we would have expected from a vacation home. ##### Susan B. Check in was a breeze and the condo was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The location was great, and we enjoyed our walks into town but also enjoyed being away from the busy downtown area. I loved having my coffee on the porch in the mornings enjoying the sun rise. The place looked exactly like the pictures shown and the kitchen was well stocked making it easy to cook (although we only made breakfast there, we were out for the rest of the meals.)The location was perfect and we will be staying there again in the future. ##### Pamela D. Kids had their own bedrooms/bathrooms which was a lifesaver!! The elevator was great for getting everything up to the condo. The back deck was a good size & screened in which was nice. The place was clean and instructions were easy to follow. There is a binder in the living area which includes area menus as well as condo instructions. While not on Folly beach, it is a short drive and also easy access to get back into Charleston. We loved our Tideline Sunset Tour with Captain Joe which is a few minutes drive to the marina.
