This awesome, oceanfront 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is ready to make your vacation dreams come true! This classic Folly Beach cottage has all the comforts of home and will provide life-long memories for you and your furry companions on Folly Beach. Upon entering the home you will love the open floor plan with ocean views from the kitchen and living area. Kitchen has beautiful granite with stainless steel appliances and gourmet gas range. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the items required to cook family meals. Separating the kitchen from the living area is a farm house style dining table with bench seating to allow the whole family to enjoy meals together. Living area features large flat screen TV, two couches and fantastic ocean views through the living room doors. Home includes 4 bedrooms which all feature new bedding and flat screen TV's. Three of the four bedrooms have queen beds. The final bed room is perfect for the kids with two bunk beds encompassing a total of 4 twin beds. Bunk beds are built for kids and not suitable for large adults. The childs room connects to a Jack-n-Jill bath with a shower/tub combo, toilet and vanity. The second bathroom has a walk in shower. Walking out of the oceanfront living room doors the screened in porch with dining set up is perfect for morning coffee or enjoying a meal while listening to the ocean waves. The porch continues outside of the screened in section and has lounge chairs that create s great spot for sunbathing or just relaxing under the stars. A private boardwalk leads from the deck down to the beach. Located on the East end of the island, the beach is rarely crowded and allows opportunity to see dolphins in the surf and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Outdoor shower underneath the house and along the boardwalk are great for rinsing off after a long day in the sun. Parking in the driveway can fit up to 4 vehicles. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, outdoor shower, gas grill, central heat and air conditioning. $250 VayK Gear beach gear credit included with reservations staying 3-14 nights. Home is strictly non-smoking. Home is pet-friendly with paid fee of $150 per pet, plus tax, maximum 2 pets. Minimum age to rent is 25, no exceptions. We loved the location and the credit that allowed us to rent bikes. Communication with Carolina One was very smooth. We had an enjoyable two-week stay.Two reasons for subtracting a star: first, the gas grill is filthy and rusted and needs to be replaced. The lighting in the grill area is inadequate. One reason we rented a house was to avoid eating every meal out, so the poor quality of the grill was a big deal.The other disappointing thing is that there is no good place to read. Great location and the beach was not busy at all. We enjoyed having a screen porch to have lunch on. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Some new railings on the screened porch and deck are needed. Nice walk or short drive down to the pier (with much busier beach) and shops; convenient into Charleston as well. The beach was beautiful and seemed private! We enjoyed the ability to walk right out of the house to the ocean and not have to fight a crowd or “pick a spot” since this need of the island is less crowded! The property was super clean while the linens and sheets seemed to be pretty new. Everything worked perfectly. This house was great. Updated and very clean. Loved walking in to music on. We had a girls weekend trip here and loved the open living space and the screened in porch and large deck. We stayed here with another family and a total 4 kids and wow - what a great beach home! Everything is brand new granite counters, top of the line appliances and everything you need in the kitchen. Spent every evening chilling on the screened porch and the kids loved the direct beach access. Beds were very comfy with really nice sheets and plenty of towels as well. House is recently renovated, and well designed for a few families or one big one. Great living space and screened in porch right on the beach. Water was fantastic and kept our girls (11/8) occupied for hours. Service was excellent and property very well maintained. Manager replied instantly with questions and was great to deal with. House was clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful screened in patio and deck overlooking the ocean. The house was located a few miles from town so it was nice and quiet and private. Updated, clean, spacious; with amazing rear house ocean views. Perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids; 9, 9 & 5). My only wish for a future stay here would be standard beach necessities; chairs, towels, umbrella and sand toys as it's not easy to travel with these items.
