The beds were very comfortable with the rooms were being very spacious. Every bathroom was clean w/ plenty of towels and supplies. The front deck was beautiful for relaxing and having our morning coffee on. We rented bikes locally and did self-guided bike tours of the island on two beautiful days. We rented the penthouse to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The rental was so spacious and bright and a beautiful view of the water. We stayed at the Penthouse for my friend’s bachelorette weekends and it was absolutely perfect. The access to the beach, downtown, and Bert’s market could not be beat. Absolutely would book The Penthouse again. The property has a very spacious living area as well as spacious bedrooms, our group of 6 was very comfortable. The property is well appointed and the location is excellent, we were able to walk to any store or restaurant we visited in Folly Beach. Bert's Market is in the next block and is great for anything you may need and open 24 hours! We were very fortunate to have warm weather and enjoyed time on the beach which is just across the street and was not crowded this weekend. We spent a lot of time enjoying the porch which has a great view of the beach. All of my guests expressed that they thought it was very nice! ##### Kim S. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location and setup. The home had great space and lots of bathrooms. The location is incredible—steps to the beach, Bert’s market (open 24/7!), and has incredible views of the beach. The Penthouse was large, clean & spacious. We did have an issue with no AC, but the company was communicative and responsive. They were able to send someone to fix it after night 2 of our stay and we were issued a credit back due to the delay. We had the best time and really enjoyed the porch & beautiful views. None of us had been there so we knew not what to expect! Expectations were exceeded. The Penthouse is directly across from the ocean. Long covered porch looks out at the water and the walking distance from the porch to the ocean was about one minute or less. There is a all convenience store within walking distance that never closes. It is open 24 hours a day and the doors are always open. Free coffee and free refills are always available. The condo had 4 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Everything you might need was there for us. The layout is perfect for us - four bedrooms for the four siblings/spouses plus the upstairs loft rooms for the three kids (now young adults). The open format includes a well-stocked kitchen, large dining table and seating/TV area so everyone can spread out and do their thing. Plus the ocean view is a constant reminder that you are at the beach! Great location too - quick walk to the Folly restaurants and to Bert's for last-minute supplies. Steven and his team at iTrip are great communicators and true professionals. One of our guests forgot their hanging clothes in the closet when we checked out. They immediately made arrangements to ship the items to North Carolina. We are already making plans for our next holiday gathering at The Penthouse! ##### Karen K. This has been our tradition for over 15 years. The Penthouswas e was one of our best . The location was wonderful. The kitchen layout was great and the kitchen was well stocked. What kept it from getting a 5 star? The rail coming up the "flight" of stairs out side was a bit shaky, the towel rack in front bathroom was pulled out of wall, the water pressure in single bath by kitchen was minimal. also the great room sofas were a bit soiled. Did these issues hamper our family gathering? No we had a wonderful time....but in my mind 5 stars mean perfection.. ##### Jennifer w. Our stay was good but there are some items that could be update. The area rug in the main living room is all rolled and could be a big tripping hazard. The box outlets in the kitchen and bathroom off the kitchen are coming out of the wall when you unplug a item. The out door cushions are very dirty and stained. We felt the unit was cleaned. We absolutely loved our stay at The Penthouse! The location truly couldn’t have been better. Steps away from Bert’s and all the restaurants and bars. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. The rooms were spacious and well decorated! There was ample beach gear available for use along with showers underneath the building for washing off after the beach. The right side of the house was much warmer in temperature the entire stay — we think it was due to the sun hitting that side of the house and there’s obviously not much you can do about that. We tried to keep the curtains closed to help. The balcony was huge and had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately the beach access across the street was closed due to dredging near the pier, but the next access was a short walk down the street. We are already looking into booking our next stay at The Penthouse! :) ##### Lexie R. The penthouse itself is spacious, but it's showing wear and tear from frequent large groups.Since it's a top-floor unit above other condos, nose seems to travel easily. We received 2 noice warnings on a Thursday night while just listening to music and playing board games in the living room, which was surprising and a bit frustrating.
