"The staff were friendly and welcoming, housekeeping staff were lovely. The hotel room itself was disappointing. Very run down, stains on the couch, marks on the wall, water damage near the ceiling. The bedding was very thin and not comfortable, the bed itself was comfy. The shower rarely got hot/warm. The floor outside of the elevator on floor 2 felt very sketchy like it was going to cave in soon. There was lots of parking and the area felt very safe. I did not love that I had a room with an adjoining door to another room as I was traveling alone and staying for a week. The room was a suite and had a sink and microwave but there was nothing to wash dishes with, wipe the counter etc I had to go out and buy my own. Previous experiences I have had that in a suit with a mini kitchen. "

"I'm not familiar with Sudbury, but this property feels like it's in a sketchy part of town. Under a bridge and beside a rail yard, I had to drive around a dozen people wandering around in the street outside a centre offering services to individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction just to get to the hotel. If I hadn't pre-paid, I would have found a different place to stay. The parking lot is pretty beaten up, the lobby looks tired and the elevator is quite worn. The room was mediocre. In-room coffee, but all the supplied pods were decaf. Bathroom exhaust fan was super loud. Bathroom was very small. All night, there was banging outside my window like somebody was throwing something heavy into a garbage bin. Not a horrible experience, but low-grade ick."

"The staff make this hotel exceptional. They create a vibe that is welcoming and comfortable. While there may be updates that could be done, everything is clean and comfortable, with a convenient location close to downtown without being TOO close."

"Check in staff were polite and courteous. It would have been nice if they had told me at check in that there was a “Boil Water Advisory “ at the front desk rather than finding a letter on the counter in the room and no bottled water in the room for at least brushing my teeth. There was however bottled water in the main lobby. The “Boil Water Advisory” was lifted 6 hours after we checked in The rooms were very clean and quiet. We did not use any other facilities in the hotel as we had prior commitments. "

"They tried to forcibly enter my room after I fell asleep in a completely dry bathroom, that being the only thing that would ease my nausea. They cited water in the vents but there were no vents on the floor in the bathroom. Don't turn on the air conditioning or else these clowns will send someone to break in to your room, should another customer complain about being cold."
