Initially had to wait in office for another attendant to come as the first “didn’t know how to check in. Then when the attendant came in, presented as disgruntled and didn’t understand why the other didn’t help. When we got our room key, we notice a smell immediately in room, which we noticed possible black mold from wall ac unit. The TV also wasn’t working to which we walked back to office to ask for assistance since no room phone. We noticed the office was closed. Back in the room, fridge was hot, couldn’t put our leftovers in. Sheets weren’t cleaned. Baby roaches in bathroom and main room. Chair provided was broke and husband slipped back injuring back. No cold water in sink, hot water yes but sprayed out ridiculously making hard to use. When going to plug in our charger, it’s sparked, shocking me. Now this was at 10pm which I understand is late. As we finally got through to customer service, they were going to refund us due to all the issues. Hour and half later someone knocks on our door, the attendant for hotel. Not asking about the issues we had to assist in fixing any of it, but stating if we asked for refund, to which my husband informed yes and why. He said ok to go with him as we needed to leave then he can refund us. We had to stay since we were exhausted from day and it was very late. Completely devastated on this place!!! Good thing was the firmness of bed to which we ended up having to sleep on top of it

Clean room, staff, air conditioning, parking, conveniently located, parking!!!!

We stayed at Puente Vista in Corpus from Aug 7 through Aug 10. Check in was super easy! Upon entering we noticed it was very hot, even hotter upstairs. A bit outdated but the canal view made up for it. It had your basic things you need for a kitchen and bathroom. The pull out sofa didnt work. My husband was fishing on the deck at the canal and I went outside to sit by him. Once I stepped my foot down on the deck, one of the boards came off and almost hit me on my face! Luckily I somehow knocked it down with my hand. My right foot went down and I ended up scratching my right thigh on the concrete where I landed! (While my right foor is still in the water!) Needless to say, this ruined my trip because I couldn't get in the water (whitecap beach) or the pool! This was our first night. I couldn't sleep, I was sore. Next day I emailed management about the situation, including pictures. They moved us to a different condo with a newer deck, cooler unit, working pull out sofa! I was told the HOA is responsible for the dock. I wrote a report with management and Im hoping to hear from the HOA with a resolution. Their property negligence ruined my trip. What if that board hit my eye? If you decide to stay here, make sure you check the deck! You dont want to get hurt like I did.

The room was beautiful , clean and had everything we needed for 3 days , right on the beach was so convient and very close to restaurants and gift shops. The air conditioner kept the room very cold and we really appreciated that. The shower had shampoo conditioner and body wash and plenty of towels for 4 people. Fridge was huge and held our groceries , there was even a blender !! I really had an amazing stay my kids loved the room and I have zero regrets I would recommend and I will more than likely be back again.
