great hotel

Posted 03-Feb-2016
Pros: setting is great ,the rooms stylishly decorated and beds were roomy and the whole room spacious. the breakfast was good and the staff friendly
Cons: the only thing was finding it.The entrance is quite small though it is obvious when you know it is there but perhaps could explain where it is
Location: fantastic to explore florence which really is a lovely city and surprisingly good weather in january.was able to sit outside at restaurants
lovely hotel in the centre of everything .comfortable and stylish and felt safe . the breakfast was good and the room was spacious and a great temperature.. round the corner from the duomo and a short walk down good shopping streets to thew pontevecchio and uffizi it is really well placed with plenty of good quality restaurants a round would just recommend people are careful if exchanging money and would not recommend "best and fast exchange "where got literally less pounds than euros when should have been 1.29 in our favour.

観光に便利

Posted 09-Jan-2016
Pros: 観光に便利
Cons: シャワー
Location:

Excellent hotel, best choice in florence

Posted 05-Jan-2016
Great location, right at the centre of shopping and sights to visit, rooms not modern but clean & comfortable, very nice breakfast in a cozy and well-decorated breakfast room. Will definitely stay again. It is very full booking, need to book early in advance

Lovely hotel in the centre of Florence

Posted 11-Dec-2015
Pros: The setting, the décor, the rooms, the helpful staff
Cons: See above
Location: Central - music, restaurants, markets, Uffizzi, art galleries, the Arno, wine bars - all within walking distance.
Perfect location, excellent breakfast, helpful staff. We taxied from and to airport (22 euros each way) bus station quite a distance with luggage. Only downside it was very noisy at night and we had to buy earplugs - accordion player until midnight and a loud pop group playing in the square the first night. Every night youths screaming at the tops of their voices very late so we couldn't have windows open. Also shower leaked onto the floor every time we used it and we had to use all available towels to mop it up so fresh ones every day - they need to fix the seal on the door of the shower as if it was left the water could be damaging. Lastly the hotel should ask for the city tax when you check in. We packed up and left our bags in the room for a last stroll and when we returned our keys would not work (it was 11.30 a.m.) Reception explained we had been timed out (but check out is not until noon) We think they were worried we would leave without paying tax. Very embarrassing - cleaner had to let us in.

Pretty close to train station and shopping.

Posted 06-Dec-2015
Upon my arrival to the hotel, I was not impressed with the tiny elevators and the fact that the reception area was on the fourth floor. The hotel itself is very nice in appearance and elegant. The room was spacious except for the bathroom but did not have a mini refrigerator and coffee machine.

excellent location

Posted 04-Dec-2015
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. The location, room size and cleanliness, safety, hotel staff were all wonderful.
Cons: A television channel menu would be nice.
Location: Everything is in walking distance from the hotel. We went to the Duomo, Academia Museum, Ponte Vecchio bridge and lots of restaurants.
The hotel is in the best location! This was our first trip to Florence and would stay here again! The day we were leaving, the hotel let us leave our luggage with them so we could continue to see a few more sights. Breakfast was wonderful as well.

Great location

Great hotel, however, a reception at the ground level entrance would be more suitable.

Old World Charm

Posted 28-Nov-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: More amenities in the room - coffee/tea.
Excellent hotel with old world class and charm, in an unbeatable location. Less than 5 min walk from Duomo and Accademia Gallery, less than 15 min from other major attractions (Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria etc.) and the famous San Lorenzo leather market. Great staff, very clean and spacious rooms.
