It was about a half mile walk back to the waterfall and when we were there everything was covered with a pretty thick layer of snow. As we were waking up to the waterfall we saw this complete rainbow stretching across the whole waterfall. A few minutes later, we watched it slowly fade away. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back! (223 reviews) The room was the very top floor with a skylight that looked toward the church. And a window facing the Perlan. It was clean and comfortable with everything needed forvour syay. The only issue was only having a tub but we made it work. I highly recommend Oddsson downtown.
