We arrived at the hotel and took the back entry as we parked our car there. There were all full ashtrays next to the exit. The whole stairway smelled like ashtray and cigarettes. We were in our room and suddenly another couple opened our door as they had recieved the same code for the room as we did. Room was double booked. During our stay the room smelled like cigarettes all the time as the exit was under our balcony and everybody was smoking there and the smell entered the room. Room itself was clean and OK tough.

Downgrade room
Code number for key box was not informed before arriving. I booked quadruple room and twin room for total 5 people, but this hotel prepared triple room and double room. He explained me that he gave us upgrade rooms, but I couldn't believe that from quadruple room to triple room is the upgrade. After long discussion, finally he changed our room for correct one. It was obvious that quadruple room is larger than triple room and number of beds are also different. His offer was downgrade room and he tried to deceive us. Only his personality was the problem in this stay. Room itself was no problem.

Service was good, Parking available but limited, NO A/C - No Fans, WiFi NON-EXISTENT in room, large corner room that was spacious but extremely noisy ALL NIGHT LONG. and an excellent breakfast room with adequate breakfast offerings.

Ok, not great
Well, we slept ok. Cleaning was... not bad, not great... Standard German breakfast, ok and enough, but not exciting. Walking distance to Flensburg shopping and restaurants is 3,5 km, taxi is 10-15 EUR. Overall, it's a worn-down hotel that needs more than just a quick makeover. The hotel is wrapped in staffolding so don't expect a view (Nov./Dec. 2022). Friendly and service minded staff. Parking for free behind the hotel. We stayed 2 nights. Definately prefer other hotels in the city center, but being priced twice the Hotel Nordig, we were quite happy.

Rent och fräscht och mysigt rum. Dock luktande många utrymmen väldigt inrökta, fast i Tyskland får ju folk fortfarande röka lite var som helst. Ett helt okey hotell för en övernattning. TV-apparaten kunde med tanke på rummens granska tilltagna storlek kanske vara lite större.

Den online Check in habe ich abgebrochenen, weil der total veraltete Kalender fpr dad Geburtsdatum nicht zu umgehen war. Der Check in im Hotel war problemlos schnell. Ansonaten gab e nichts zu meckern! Der Handtuchwechsel nach 2 Nächten hättd ausbleiben können bei gebuchten 3 Nächten!

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und das merkt man auch. Irgendwie ist die Zeit dort in den frühen 90ern stehengeblieben. Alles in allem ist es für einen Kurzaufenthalt dennoch geeignet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, den Umgang habe ich als angenehm empfunden. Stärkster Minuspunkt war das alte, durchgelegene Bett, welches meinem Rücken nicht sonderlich gut bekommen ist.

En skuffende oplevelse
Et noget slidt hotel uden service. Værelset var med plastik og stillads for vinduerne og ventilatoren på badet larmede meget og længe efter lys var slukket. Der var en del møbler der dog ikke rigtig kunne komme i spil da der var TV mm. pladseret på dem. Værelset var koldt og der kunne ikke skrues op for varmen. Morgenmaden var basal men blev ikke fyldt op løbende. Generelt et hotel med potentiale der ikke er udnyttet!
