The turnoff to Snowbowl is 7 miles north on Rt 180\. Morning Coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) provided, as well as a fridge and microwave for those leftovers from our amazing Flagstaff restaurants. Front room has direct access to stairs, so its not suitable for unattended small children. Although our house was built in 1950, your space was added on in 2003\. You will enter through your private entrance into a small space at the foot of the stairs. Up the stairs, you enter a front room furnished with a couch and a small table suitable for a work space or breakfast. There is a 43" TV (we don't have premium channels but we have many others) and DVD player. The bedroom has a pillowtop queen sized bed, and plenty of space for a blowup mattress or portable crib, a small dresser, closet space and a chair to relax. Just off the bedroom there is a small balcony. The bathroom is spacious and includes a double sink vanity and 6' tub. This is a private space in a great traditional Flagstaff neighborhood. It is separate from the rest of our home and it has it's own private entrance. It's not suitable for cooking, but microwave and fridge are provided to heat leftovers and store beverages. Walk downtown, or its a short Uber ride. There are several restaurants and a grocery store with ready to eat food within a few blocks of the house. Brandon is a Grand Canyon hiker and can help with any kind of hike or bike tour planning. We have a nice, comfortable home. It's not a fancy house or a fancy neighborhood and we don't have a manicured yard, so if these things are important to you, please look elsewhere. We live in a traditional neighborhood full of kids and dogs and happy people. You can expect it to be quiet here at night (our quiet hours are 10-7), but during the day you will hear barking, crying, home improvement work, etc. We do provide a fan and a noise machine if you are working or resting during the day. We are working on beautifying our yard, but native low water plants take time to grow. Most Flagstaff homes do not have air conditioning. Your suite is equipped with a window A/C unit in the bedroom, which will keep the bedroom cool even on the hottest days in Flagstaff (we hit 90 degrees 4 or 5 times a summer). It does spill cool air into the front room, but if it's over 85 degrees outside, it will have a tougher time keeping the whole suite under 70 degrees. Property was well maintained. They made our trip more enjoyable with suggestions for local dining and advice on the best times and access points to the sites we wanted to explore. Beds were very comfortable. We had our own parking spot. Would definitely recommend this location.She makes an awesome breakfast muffin. ##### Crystal C. All communication from the host was clear and concise, beginning with information about the area, things to do nearby as well as local happenings. The location is super- you can get around easily by foot, bike or car. The suite was very clean and most comfortable. Was up on a mini reunion with friends in the same neighborhood. Comfy bed, really good bathroom and shower. Nice towels. It was everything I needed in the perfect spot. Had our own parking spot in the driveway. Lots of communication from owner. Fridge, freezer, microwave and Keurig to make your stay feel like you are at home. Very quiet. Not fancy but everything works. Microwave and fridge-freezer. Sit down eating. Bed is very comfortable and seems new. We stayed during cooler weather and appreciated the solid heating. The airport is just over 4 miles away from this rental. As you drive to the rental, you can’t help but see the San Francisco Peaks. My two main attractions were Sedona (24 miles away from rental) and Grand Canyon (approx 70 miles away). Flagstaff is a wonderful Small town with everything you need. The owner of rental allowed me to check in early and also check out late if I needed too. I was very comfortable in this rental. My husband and I loved the location, communication with the host, and how clean the property was. There was a place we could put our bikes, and we enjoyed afternoon wine on the deck.
