Majestic Home In The Pines
Enjoy this mountain retreat to relax and unwind. This older, beautiful home is an amazing get away. Sitting in the family room, looking at the mountains is so peaceful. You will love the patios and listening to the cool breeze whistle through the pine trees. 10 minutes to downtown, yet you feel very far away and secluded. We often have wild animals around the property which brings your vacation to a whole new level of getting away.

This property was amazing! Such a cool house that the pictures don’t do justice. The house was clean, the beds comfy, had all of the amenities we needed with a well stocked kitchen. We saw a herd of elk in the yard the first morning and a lone deer the second morning. We will definitely look to stay here the next time we are in Flagstaff.

Our adult kids joined us at this lovely home in Flagstaff. Wonderful scenic location! We saw deer and Elk. Spent the days doing hiking, mountain biking, ATV'ing in Sedona, one day at the Grand Canyon, and more. There is so much to do, all so close to Flagstaff. And then each evening we came back to make dinner in the well-appointed kitchen and ate together as a family. Bonus - each of our kids planned and prepared one night's dinner so the load was shared. I would definitely recommend this place! It felt so much like home.

Property was a great place to stay for a holiday weekend youth soccer tournament. Beautiful and peaceful location. Home was spacious, clean and comfortable for game nights with teenagers. Great neighborhood for a beautiful evening walk.

This cabin was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the fireplace and the beds were comfortable. We had a little mishap when checking in but the owners were quick to respond and compensated wonderfully for the error! I would recommend, it was a great place to stay!!

This was a wonderful place for family to gather for a wedding that we had at the Chapel of the Holy Dove which is just outside of Flagstaff. We had fun with board games, chats on the deck, and morning coffee moments. It is so spacious and beautiful in the pine trees, with rustic charm but with all the amenities you need. The kitchen is grand and fun. We will have great memories of this stay for years to come and we hope to go back someday!

Well it should have been a good experience, but we were greeting by a few mice when we arrived, and it ruined the weekend as several of the women had trouble dealing with that

Place is older but still nice. Had an issue with not being able to use the fridge And freezer because he smelled so bad and there was no way to air it out. Made it hard to not be able to store food during our visit. We had some issues with some of the fans and lights not working but overall an easy place to stay with a lot of space and room.

Our family of 6 loved our time at this property. Phenomenal use of space with large living room with old, cozy and way comfy furniture, fun taxidermy, with beautiful views of the trees out every window. Saw deer! Kids love it! Grown ups loved it! Couple of things to note, there is no air conditioner (evenings were beautiful, but the summer afternoons were very warm!), and the big Sliding glass Doors didn’t have screens to keep our infants inSide and the bug outSide :)

The location is great, close enough to the city to get to restaurants/shops yet far enough out of town to have deer walk through the yard. We would have loved the stay except for a few problems; the refrigerator fan is failing and intermittently emits a horrible grinding noise that interrupted conversations and loud enough to wake us up several times a night, the hallway bathroom toilet never stopped filling and was audible throughout the house, the cobwebs hanging from all of the taxidermy, and manually shoveling a foot of snow along the 30 foot driveway with a damaged snow shovel. The house was very clean and had virtually everything we needed to cook and have a good time for 8 of us, and the house stayed plenty comfortable during Snowmageddon.

great location surrounded by pine trees. House is spacious for family gathering and children's activities, indoor and out. Bathrooms, towels, sheets and kitchen etc all clean and fresh. on the other hand general cleaning was poor, particularly under couches and debris under the cushions. kitchen ceiling fan did not work, bedroom outlets had no power, (including hair dryers) several windows would not open, a piece in the dishwasher was broken,
We enjoyed our stay, but the house needs updating and many general repairs. including the multiple great outdoor wooden decks that are splintering. It has been 2 weeks since our stay and no word from property manager about our deposit refund. Hope to hear from her soon. Thankyou

Nice place! It is incredibly difficult to find a place for 8 adults where the bed arrangement is all queen + sized beds. It was perfect- and it had an enormous family room with plenty of space for us to hang out! We saw javilena, rabbits and deer. The negatives were the house smells like old books & old people. The furniture sagged a bit. One of the bedrooms someone put a magazine & brick over the floor vent, the room was the hottest in the house- huge fire hazard! The spiders have been very busy and looks like place hasn’t been dusted in a year- all the stuff on shelves had dust balls. The other problem was that there was 1 replacement roll of toilet paper & exactly 3 trash bags, & 3 dishwasher pods and no kitchen towels. There were 8 of us and we cooked so it would have been nice to have more dish soap, toilet paper and a kitchen wash cloth. All items I would have brought with me if I knew there wouldn’t be a sufficient supply. We also had a delightful host- Larry the No tailed lizard. He lives in the fireplace vent holes and comes out to sun himself in the afternoons.
