"Stayed here with my hubby and 2 kids, 16, 14. We didn’t use many of the amenities since we were out and about the few days we were there. We were able to use the local bus a couple of times and it was a convenient walk from the hotel. It was close to a great cafe - Muddy’s Cafe (fantastic food & view), walking downtown is doable - about 30 min? We ate at the restaurant one night and it was pretty good, decent selection. They had food we could take on the road as well - muffins and some sandwiches which was great as we were heading out for excursions. They have a whole wall of excursions around the area and they set us up with a Great Barrier Reef snorkeling trip. They have shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower, mini fridge, no microwave. Very close to the airport. Decent as far as noise levels from the hallway- people are just not considerate in the halls. I would stay here again. "

"It was clean, comfortable and spacious. Also the view from our place was beautiful! Love waking up to it. Another plus is that it’s close to so many tourist spots (just a 5 minute walk from the Great Barrier Reef Terminal) and food places."

"What a great place to stay. Relaxed, great facilities, beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an older establishment, with some upgrades, and situated a little out of town. I really liked its hokey 80's vibes. The restaurant was great, the food fresh, well priced, and a great selection. All in all we were pretty happy with our stay."
