"The room was quirky had an iron, hairdryer kettle etc however we found it very dusty and unclean the rug was dirty - bits on the floor, not ideal with a 1 year old."

This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers."

"Had really good stay, was there for 6 nights, food was lovely, staff really polite and helpful, our room was clean, very comfortable, only thing was the creaking doors early on a morning but that doesn't really affect the quality of stay, overall we had a really nice break away. 100% would recommend staying here if looking for somewhere in pontefract to stay"

"A really friendly greeting at reception, with helpful guidance. The room was of a very high standard, clean and fresh, with a good supply of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Beds were comfy, only niggle was that the extra pillows provided were really lumpy. Extremely helpful staff in the breakfast room, very courteous and friendly.There was a good selection of hot food for breakfast, and a lovely selection of fruit, sweet melon slices and fresh fruit salad. We had taken our dogs, and one little warning for other dog owners is that the grassy, wooded area for walking dogs has a lot of deer ticks, so good idea to check dogs after walking. We enjoyed our stay and the use of the pool. "
