Katinka, our host, was friendly and explained the current history of the place (as we had stayed there on previous occassions). "Connected to the Stanley Hotel. This was a truly wonderful apartment overlooking the water at the bottom of the main street. A short walk to the town centre and the pub for dinner (food was absolutely sensational for all 4 of us) and only a 10 min walk to the penguin viewing below the cemetery at night. There was nothing not to like about the accommodation or the town."
