  • The Stone House is a charming home located in a residential area, yet close enough to Fish Creek's shops, fine restaurants, and galleries. Walk to the Door Community Auditorium to see your favorite National Act perform, or the Peninsula School of Arts to take a class or view the art in the Guenzel Gallery. The Peninsula Players, the countrie's oldest outdoor theatre is 2 miles away. Have your morning coffee out on the deck, or relax infront of a camp fire making smores around our fire pit. The entrance to Peninsula State Park is less than 2 miles away with breath taking views of the water, islands, stone bluffs, with miles of hiking and biking trails, and a great handicapped accessible tower to climb. Definately take in a Door County Trolley tour, or a scenic boat tour during your stay!

Spacious, Homey, and great outdoor spaces

Our stay was great, using almost every amenity described. We grilled, porch sat, watched movies, had evening fires at the pit and loved the proximity to town and Peninsula Park. Would love to stay again!

Carefree Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at the Stone House. It was in a great location and close proximity to downtown Fish Creek— allowed us to easily explore and experience what this area had to offer. The property itself was clean, and provided everything we needed! I only wish we were able to stay longer!

Great Place to Stay

We very much enjoyed our time in Door County and at The Stone House. The house was very nice, and clean, the property was beautiful and we used the grill and firepit multiple times. We will try to book The Stone House again when we return to Door County.

Fun in DC

Our family has stayed in this area for many years and the Stone House had a nice living space and a place for my granddaughters and play. The house was clean and we enjoyed staying there.

Girl's weekend. Five of us age 27-85 years old. Absolutely fantastic experience. The house exceeded expectations. Perfect location just off the main drag in Fish Creek. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. The sunroom was where we hung out the most. Table was big enough for eating and playing games. The weather was even warm enough to hang out on the deck and there was more than enough seating. Everything was clean and well cared for. Not one of us could come up with a single thing we'd suggest to improve our stay. Just fabulous! Highly recommend!!

Fish Creek Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was very clean and so close to everything in Fish Creek. We biked right from the house into the state park. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. We would stay again!

Wonderful!

The Stone House was a perfect place for our Ladies Weekend. Clean, well appointed, thoughtful outdoor spaces. Walking distance to downtown Fish Creek and easy access to area attractions. Don’t miss one of the local fish boils. We had a great time!!

The Stone House is just perfect and is very charming!!! It is very spacious, very clean, and has everything you need! Having 2 full bathrooms is an added perk!!! It was also very quiet and yet you were close to everything! Carla and Jay did a wonderful job communicating with us and the week we spent there was fantastic. I highly recommend this property. We will be back in the future!

Great Stay at Fish Creek

We arrived on Thursday late afternoon and stayed till Sunday morning. Everything was clean and as expected with the description given. We enjoyed the location to Peninsula State Park as we brought our bikes with to do some trails. We really liked the layout, giving us space for 2 couples.

Great stay, highly recommend

Friends and I stayed here during Fall Fest. The house was very clean and fully stocked with supplies stated in the listing. The bedding was very comfortable. They had a lot of firewood cut and stacked, ready for us to use. Easy check-in and check-out. We were extremely happy with our stay and would highly recommend for others to stay here.
