The SteigRhein holiday home welcomes you with two fully renovated holiday apartments in the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley.<br>Both apartments feature a balcony, TV in the bedroom and living room, free Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, a seating area in the courtyard invites you to relax and enjoy a barbecue.<br>Filsen is located on the right bank of the Rhine in the river’s largest bend. Ferry and train connections are available. Bicycle tours (bike paths available) and hikes along the Rheinsteig trail also start right at your doorstep.<br><br>The ground-floor apartment (65 square metres) features a large bedroom, living room, a kitchen, and a small bathroom with a walk-in shower. In addition to the comfortable couch, the living room also features a fold-out bed (160x200) with a slatted frame and mattresses. This makes it suitable for 3–4 adults and one toddler (travel cot provided).<br>From the living room, you also have access to the southwest-facing balcony with a view of the Rhine.<br>To ensure you feel right at home from the start, we provide freshly made beds and towels—at no extra cost. You don’t need to bring anything; just arrive and relax. Free Wi-Fi access is also included.<br><br>In addition to the apartment you’ve booked, you’ll have access to the laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, as well as to the garage where you can store your bicycles.<br><br><br>Filsen is located on the right bank of the Rhine in the largest bend of the river, across from Boppard. <br>In Filsen, there’s a Rhine ferry to cross the river, and there are excellent train connections in all directions (Rüdesheim–Koblenz). Bicycle tours (bike paths available) and hikes along the Rheinsteig trail also start practically right outside the front door. In the village itself, there’s a small village store, and in Kamp-Bornhofen—about 4 km away—there are two additional supermarkets, as well as a doctor’s office, a pharmacy, and the beautiful World Heritage-listed outdoor swimming pool. There are many castles and palaces in the immediate vicinity just waiting for you to explore them. Additionally, within a radius of just 40 km, there are numerous options for day trips and activities, such as the summer toboggan run on the Loreley Plateau, the thermal baths in Bad Ems, the Neuwied Zoo, canoe trips on the Lahn River, the via ferrata and chairlift in Boppard, and much more. Koblenz, the “City of Two Rivers,” with its famous Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, as well as its historic old town featuring numerous shopping opportunities, cafés, and beer gardens, is also only about 18 km away.
