We stayed here the night before catching a cruise. If your cruise departs from the main cruise pier the location can’t be beat. It’s literally a five minute walk. Ours was at the farther pier which required a taxi. However, the hotel is the perfect location for restaurants, shopping, site seeing, and train station. Trieste is very walkable, by the way with lots of restaurants and shopping.
The property itself was meticulously maintained. The rooms are bright, modern, well appointed, and air conditioned.
Included is a wonderful buffet breakfast with excellent selection and service.
Our only minor gripe is the reception staff was not as attentive as we hoped, probably because it seemed understaffed.
Other than that, would highly recommend.
