Needed a place to stay in Graz after a very long drive from the Netherlands. Everything in Graz proper was full, and since we mostly needed a place to sleep before more driving, we decided to take a chance on Amedia Express Graz Airport. Make no mistake, it's an airport hotel, nothing fancy, settled in an otherwise residential area. Even though we arrived at 19:30 no one was at the bar/reception, so we used the self check-in kiosk. Surprisingly for a hotel well outside the city, outside parking was not free but 8 euros, and a garage is available for 12 euros. The hotel bar looks nice but was empty, not very inviting to hang out. If you arrive from the airport, there are a few restaurants within walking distance, but with a car there are many more options not too far away. The comfort twin room is clean, decently equipped, but very small -- tight quarters for two people. There is a big TV with the usual all-German channels, some French, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, and a few English news channels. Despite listing it as a "smart" TV in the amenities, it has no smart functions but you can cast to it from a smart device. Beds were small for two tall adults, but fairly comfortable. Air conditioning was welcome in the August heat. It seems underpowered when you turn it on but eventually cools the room significantly. We slept pretty well, and the price was very reasonable, but due to the room size and distance from the city I would not recommend a stay of more than one night.

As you already mentioned, we are a 3 star airport hotel with rooms in the size of 20m2, which you can see on our homepage. On that day we had to close the reception earlier but usually it is open until 22:30 and you can use our bar to relx and take a drink or snack. We hope to see you soon again with us

Príjemný tranzitný hotel. My sme ho využili na jednu noc a boli sme veľmi spokojní. Milý a ochotný personál, možnosť parkovania priamo pri hoteli a pár minút od diaľnice A2. Menšia izba, no nič jej nechýbalo. Kúpeľňa pekná a čistá, rýchlovarná konvica, čaj, káva a Klimatizacia. Postelne pohodlné a dostatočne veľké. Boli sme veľmi spokojní.

The hotel is a pet friendly hotel, after my stay I had several bug bites which seem to be flees. I stayed in room 105 Justin Reece. Other than that hotel was nice and staff were excellent.

My review
It's a very good hotel. There was a railway nearby the hotel. It can be annoying. Just that was the bad side but the rest was very good.

Alles ok bis auf einen showstopper
Ich hab den Auslöser gesucht. Unter dem Bett, unter der Bettdecke, in der Toilette, hinter der Tür. Vergeblich. Aber wo versteckt sich dieser Schnarcher? Der ist so laut, dass er sich doch irgendwo im Zimmer aufhalten muss. Fehlanzeige: er schnarcht nebenan und ist durch klopfzeichen nicht aufzuwecken. Mit anderen Worten: sehr hellhörig. Man braucht mindestens die orangen 3M Ohrstoepsel um schlaf zu finden.

It was a pleasent experiance. the location was near to Airport, and 10 minute walk distance, no need to ride a taxi. the breakfast buffet was not fancy but varous type of meal with decency. people were kind, liked free apple at the front. Strongly recommend especially you are thinking business trip in this region.

Neues Hotel der preiswerten Kategorie, aber grundsätzlich okay. Jedoch liegt das Haus unmittelbar an einer Bahntrasse und auf der anderen Seite befindet sich eine Mega-Baustelle, auf diese hätte hingewiesen werden müssen. Self check In schon vor 22:00 Uhr. Das Personal war sehr bemüht.
