House with garden - Residence 63 Staberdorf

Brief description:
A very well-equipped holiday home facing south, right on Meeschendorf Beach. The beautiful garden features two terraces so you won’t miss a single ray of sunshine, and even though it’s located in the middle of the holiday complex, it’s quiet enough here that the hare and the hedgehog can say good night to each other.

Outdoor area:
Since the house is located at the end of the driveway, there is absolutely no through traffic from cyclists or pedestrians, except for the immediate neighbors. This makes the garden a true paradise for hedgehogs and birds.

Special features:
This accommodation is ideal for working and relaxing in peace and seclusion. It is intentionally equipped for only two adults. Behind the house, you’ll find a Weber gas grill and a good supply of firewood. Please note: Please bring your own bed linens, sheets, and towels, or book the linens package.

A five-minute walk will take you to a small store at the Südstrand campground, where you can find fresh rolls and basic necessities. There is also a surfing and sailing school, bike rentals, and a high-rope adventure course there.

Rooms and Amenities:
The house has a combined living and dining area with an open kitchen. A wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere and provides quick warmth. Night storage heating is used in the living/dining area; radiators are used in the other rooms.

From the bedroom, you can catch a glimpse of a small stretch of the Baltic Sea when you look out into the garden with your morning coffee in hand.
The bed measures 2 x 2 metres without a footboard and features separate medium-firm to firm mattresses. The TV is currently in the bedroom.

The small, bright north-facing room offers storage space for a longer stay and a small workspace for workation enthusiasts.

The bathroom has a shower, and there is a washing machine in the storage closet.
The kitchen is fully equipped and features a dishwasher, a stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop and oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and everything you need for cooking.
The amenities are rounded out by a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a stereo system with an iPod connection, and a cosy reading nook with a selection of books.

Pets are not allowed.
This is a non-smoking home and is rented to a maximum of 2 people.
We live on the property ourselves and are happy to answer any questions or provide assistance.

Location Description:
The house is located in the heart of the “Ferienresidenz Fehmarnstrand” complex, which dates back to the 1970s. The complex is accessible from Staberdorf, but is actually located south of Meeschendorf, directly on the Baltic Sea. The natural beach is 50 metres from the house. It is sometimes more and sometimes less rocky—depending on the winter storms—but there is a swimming pier to ensure you can safely enter the water.

For water sports enthusiasts: There is a boat ramp on the property for small dinghies or fishing boats; please note that only hand-pulled boat dollies are permitted—no vehicle access.

Pricing information:
There are no additional charges for water or electricity. The cost of the Ostseekarte (visitor’s tax) is billed separately; alternatively, you can purchase the Ostseekarte yourself from the city of Fehmarn.

Additional information:
Distance to the beach: 60 metres.
Boat launch available for small boats with hand caravans. Direct access for surfers and kiteboarders; surf and sailing school at the adjacent campground. Excellent fishing spot.
The beach is a natural beach and is not cleaned. Depending on weather conditions and winter storms, it may be more or less rocky or covered with seaweed.

However, on the eastern edge of the campground (100 metres from the house), there is a swimming pier from which you can safely enter the water at any time.
