The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway in a quiet area, away from the busy downtown core. For a hotel that is over 100 years old, it has been well maintained and is in good condition.
The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and the bathtub drains slowly while showering. There are also some signs of wear in the room, but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.

I recently stayed at the Mark Spencer Hotel in Portland and my girls and I had a great experience. I arrived before check in and the staff graciously allowed me to park my rental car early, which was a huge convenience and a great first impression.
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and my room was spacious with a kitchenette that made the stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect—within walking distance of many great restaurants.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Portland.
