"Overall a reasonable hotel. Dinner and breakfast were totally acceptable, particularly the dinner (both quality and price). I slept well, although the other two persons with me said the beds were hard."

This was the best family holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve stayed at some incredible 5* resorts around the world in the past. Ciavolich is the perfect base to explore beautiful Abruzzo (you will definitely need a car to do this) and in Carla and Paola the winery has 2 absolute gems who made our entire trip. We arrived at the hotel later than we wanted to which is a shame because it was lovely, our room was amazing with 2 balconies with lovely views. The staff were so helpful, the restaurant was fully booked so we asked the chef if we could have room service, nothing was too much trouble and at 8pm the food arrived along with a glass of wine and a beer ☺️ We were so tired we really appreciated it. We sat on the balcony enjoying a lovely meal watching the sunset….thank you. Breakfast was great too.

Beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, rooms are the actual original houses of the village and the whole concept of local food/products is simply genius.
Very quiet no cars or any noise. I will go back

Beautifully reformed property in a classical building. Comfortable bed, great air-conditioning, and a large bathroom. The owner, Luigi, is a great host. This was my second stay at La Casa di Tocco, and I will stay there again in the future.

What a fantastic stay! The villa was a hidden gem — incredible value for money. We stayed 14 night for a tournament in June . The owner was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She has little English but Google translate came in handy every day . The lady of the house recommended restaurant to eat in at night time .. Breakfast was simple with tea and toast, and Villa had a relaxed vibe. The pool was a real highlight — crystal clear and beautifully maintained...
