Although it feels way out in the country with fields surrounding the property it actually only minutes away from Historic Falkirk, shops and motorways. A bit out of the way, you need a car to get there and the farm road is not in great condition. The cottage is lovely, very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Love to visit them but prefer quieter areas. We see roads and want to know where they go, so when we came across Wilson Cottage it sounded perfect. It was warm and cozy and just the perfect size for us. The views were beautiful. Unfortunately a heavy rain storm came in but the little cottage kept us warm and dry. We did need a little help understanding the heating system but everyone was helpful and so kind. They made sure we safe and sound and dry. We would definitely come back to Wilson Cottage in the future should we be fortunate to return to Scotland.
