Iris Hotel Cape Cod
10/10 Excellent
"Classic but Nice Place! I noticed renovation happening which is fine. I used the gym (I think more equipment can help) and I ate at the complementary breakfast (there was no eggs .. may be i was late, not a problem there was more food available) after that their front out door area is peaceful and beautiful! I being on cape cod 3 times this year so far and this hotel was the best one. Yes I will come back to this hotel!"
"It’s actually good place. Was very clean
Customer service can be better but over all a B. Occupant below me was complaining of noises coz I traveled with my four year old son. He was stomping around."
"At first glance, the hotel looked a bit dated, and the front desk staff didn't come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. However, they were able to get us checked in without any major issues.
I booked the hotel through Hotels.com, but I was charged more than the remaining balance shown on my reservation. When I asked about the difference, I was told that Hotels.com did not include the hotel's service fees. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and forgot to ask for a receipt, so I wasn't able to verify exactly what the additional charges were.
That said, it appears the rooms have been recently renovated. The interiors were modern, very clean, and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job and provided fresh towels every day.
The hotel's location is another big plus. It's only about five minutes from the Martha's Vineyard ferry terminal, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and pharmacies within a five-minute drive. The hotel also has both indoor and outdoor pools, and both the pools and the surrounding deck areas were very clean and well maintained.
Overall, we had a very good stay. Aside from the minor hiccup during check-in regarding the additional charges, the hotel offered clean, comfortable accommodations in a convenient location, and we would consider staying here again."
"Beautiful grounds, lovely staff.. my sons got a chance to try golf. The rooms were spotless. Only 20min away from ferry, beach and downtown. I will return"
