Wonderful guest house in great location overlooking the beach. Free parking in front of the guest house and opposite the coop. Great room and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Couldn’t believe we saw seals in the harbour and a great place for scuba diving.

It was well located on the waterfront near a shop with Fred parking in the street. It was quiet. We had a fantastic meal at the new Indian restaurant nearby. The bed was big and the linen was lovely quality. It was good to be able to open the windows for fresh air.

This was better than I first thought. Staying for business and I need somewhere close to where I was working for 1 night. The email with entry instructions arrived in good time and entry to the building was easy too and parking across the road. Room was perfectly adequate, clean and tidy. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely. I prefer to have breakfast earlier than 8am but that's only a personal preference. A little bit of road noise on occasion but not all night. All in all I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time at The Home Arms. The location was just amazing! The host was warm and welcoming, and the place was spotless and well cared for. The traditional English breakfast was really tasty. The only minor point is that the mattresses felt a bit too soft for our liking, as we’re more used to firmer support. It might be something to consider improving. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly come back.

Good location to use as a base for one or two nights stay. Staff at breakfast and room cleaning were friendly and helpful. Breakfast food was the usual mix of traditional cooked fare with cereal, yoghurt, juices etc. The remote Check in was a little strange but caused no problems. The twin bedroom was small but adequate as was the bathroom. The shower worked well. The house has a large downstairs lounge with TV and views of the seafront which allows guests the option of relaxing outside their rooms. Car parking is the large Free public car park opposite the guest house. Free to stay up to 48 hours. One big negative however was the two single beds in the room. Two extremely uncomfortable nights sleep in beds that were way past their lifespan and definitely need replacing!
