The best area to stay in Exomvourgo is typically in the villages located around the base of the Exomvourgo mountain, particularly those offering convenient access to the island's main town and beaches.

For couples seeking a blend of tradition and accessibility, staying in a boutique hotel or guesthouse in the charming village of Tripotamos is an excellent choice. This village is one of the oldest on Tinos and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the Aegean Sea. It's a quiet area with narrow, winding streets, traditional Cycladic architecture, and a few local tavernas, providing a truly authentic Greek island experience. It's also just a short drive from Tinos Town and various beaches.

Families often find the area around the village of Ktikados to be very suitable. Ktikados is known for its beautiful panoramic views and its proximity to both the main town and several family-friendly beaches. The village itself has a lovely central square with a couple of traditional cafes and restaurants, great for relaxed evenings. Accommodation here often includes larger villas or apartments, offering more space and privacy for families.

June and September are particularly good months for couples. The temperatures are pleasantly warm, averaging around 25-28°C, and the island is less crowded than in the peak summer months. This allows for a more relaxed experience, whether you're exploring the walking trails around the Exomvourgo mountain or enjoying a quiet dinner in one of the traditional villages like Volax or Ktikados. The sea is also warm enough for swimming during these months.

Families travelling with children will find July and August ideal. While these months are the busiest, they offer the warmest sea temperatures, often exceeding 25°C, which is great for beach days. There's also a livelier atmosphere with more organised activities and services available. The Meltemi winds can offer a refreshing breeze during the hottest days.
