Wonderfully atmospheric hotel in the perfect spot overlooking the main river right at the heart of this great city.

It was pleasant stay. Staff was really nice and friendly.

An excellent hotel. The staff were unfailingly helpful, the facilities excellent and all areas of the place sparkling clean. The room and bathroom were well designed, not large but there was adequate space. The room looked out onto a fairly busy road but there must have been superb soundproofing because the traffic noise was barely a murmur in the room.

Wonderful stay in the suite at the One Two Four. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful accommodation and the spa was a great addition to our trip. We had breakfast in the restaurant on one morning which was fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend.

Very nice room, spacious for two, well equipped kitchenette, clean and quiet. Good breakfast, too. About a 15 mins walk o city centre and trams but bus is close by. Had a third bed put in one of the apartments for an adult and that was fine, too.

We have stayed in many hotels in Ghent as my husband’s family are based there and this is, by far, the best we’ve stayed out. We loved how quiet the rooms were as I’m a light sleeper. Despite a dj downstairs and a busy nightlife you hear absolutely nothing in the rooms! There’s also a working space downstairs for during the day which is great for a working holiday, something we are now considering. Whilst the rooftop doesn’t have a particularly good aspect, it’s still a lovely spot to have a...

Gare 55 is amazing. It is situated in a renovated train station and the facilities are absolutely top notch. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a kitchen that we were able to use and there are prepared meals available in the freezer. We are looking for a reason to revisit the area as we would love to stay at Gare 55 again.

Hotel Harmony was the perfect choice for our trip to Ghent. Excellent location, close to most of the Ghent attractions but quiet at the same time. The room was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, with comfortable bed and nice bathroom, and we even had view of the castle from our balcony. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, happy to answer our questions and provide suggestions. Thank you, Hotel Harmony for our very pleasant stay.

Excellent

The room was clean with nice decor as was Reception. In Reception there was a water machine and a tea/coffee machine which was great. The hotel was central in the town - great location. Lots of shops and beautiful buildings. It was about half an hour walk to the main station (went to Bruges for the day from here) we enjoyed the walk as crossed many canals, but you could take a bus/tram to the station. Would definitely stay here again.

Location fantastic room clean did not bother with breakfast

Great apartment in a great location. The place was equipped with everything needed. It was very modern and comfortable. The only downside is the noise from residents above or nextdoor. Also if you choose to use the car park provided by the hotel, it is not at the same location. The car park is a shared lot situated a couple of mins walk away in a residential block. You will need to check in prior to parking as you are provided with a fob to access the car park. This will then need to be...

Stayed for a Saturday night over the Davis Cup weekend. Very easy to find, a few mins from the motorway. Very friendly check in, the chap on the front desk even had a tram ticket which was preloaded with credit which he gave to me (I just added the cost to my room). He provided a map of the town and detailed instructions on various ways of getting there. Location was spot on. Tram route 4 was a 2 minute walk from the hotel and gets you into the centre of Ghent within 15 mins. Hotel was very...

We took one of the attic rooms which has a lovely vibe (we just had overnight bags so the stairs were no problem). The room was clean and the bed comfortable - we had a great night's sleep. The area around is good and just a short walk along the river to the centre. We parked nearby at St Michael's which was 31eur per 24h (10/2026).

Check in was delayed, but able to leave luggage there until we could check in. Was upgraded to a luxury room which was huge, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is great with lots of pastries, cheeses and meats to choose from. Staff are friendly. I shall be back for my 3rd visit next year x

They were at the moment by renoveting. It will be very nice. We had gratis breakfast becaouse of the renovation. They were veti kind.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great reasonably priced option to explore the city. The location is fantastic being directly opposite the impressive cathedral and being only a few minutes walk to the Korenmarkt. Whilst it is quite a basic hotel with just a bar and restaurant if you are like me and planning a trip to Ghent and just need a central point to rest whilst you explore the city this is perfect.
