The hotel is ideally located, perfect for walking around Ghent. Keep in mind that the cathedral rings the bells from 8:30-8:45am - yes, 15 full minutes, but the rooms seem quite soundproof. It was not an issue for us but maybe something to consider for others

Fantastic location and for a great price. I couldn’t have asked for better. I was able to check in early and got a corner room with a view of the main square. Staff was friendly and helpful and the ac worked fantastic. Good WiFi as well. Highly recommend this place.

Staff were helpful, finding the parking was a bit of a nightmare but a member of staff managed to help, the parking under The hotel is secure. The hotel and the room has been cheaply done. The tap in our room was broken, the toilet was so close to the wall that it was difficult to sit down properly. We were at the front of the hotel which has a nice view but it is very noisy. The bed was also broken so every time you moved it squeezed. Only the mattress topper had a sheet on it, not the mattress underneath. No fridge in the room.

The hotel was situated right next to this cathedral so location wise it was perfect. Room was smallish but clean. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good priced hotel with a good location 🙂
