The Suite Potato: a splashtastic one room suite

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit for 2 (+) people. Nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood this one room suite has a private entrance and a compact, but cute, ensuite bathroom. The suite is attached to our home where we live year round. You have reserved access to our heated swimming pool in summer, and year round access to our hot tub. The suite offers a queen bed, fridge, Keurig and microwave. We have a single 3 in 1 sleeper chair available for a third person. However, three people in the suite may feel pretty cozy.

We try to give our guests their space but are available if you need us. Your guest suite has a separate entrance but is attached to our home. We just recently finished installing an exterior deck for your space and a brand new bathroom with shower.

We live here full time and plan to provide you privacy but are available by text. Since we share walls we may hear one another but have quiet time hours 9 pm to 7 am. We will allocate a predetermined 2 hour window daily for you to have access to pool (only summer months) and hot tub time without us being there.

HOUSE RULES

Hate has no home here.

All are welcome, we are LGBTQ friendly.

No firearms, illegal drugs, or smoking allowed on our property. Unfortunately we can not offer a designated out door smoking space.

Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 7 am.

Only guests listed on the VRBO rental allowed on property; unless it has been previously arranged and approved.

All guests must be adhere to the posted rules when using our pool and or hot tub. (posted in photos).

Treat our home like you would treat your home.

Understand we live on the property and we may hear each other.

Pack and play available upon request.

Inflatable air mattress available upon request.

We keep our thermostat set at 72, if needed, for your comfort we have a fan or space heater available upon request.

Fantastic place in a great neighborhood! So convenient close to everything. The room is well decorated and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The owners are excellent hosts. We will definitely return whenever we have something happening in Eugene!

Great location

We stayed during UO Graduation weekend and the suite was perfectly located near the campus, just a short drive away. It was comfortable, clean and the perfect place to rest between grad activities. The hosts made everything super easy with our stay.

Nestled in a gorgeous neighborhood

So great to be close to all the activities while staying in a wonderful neighborhood instead of a busy hotel/motel. A quick spin to the nearby bike paths after in-room morning coffee was awesome. Access to the pool/jacuzzi also made for a delightful stay!

Room with outdoor space

This stay was good for our quick trip through Eugene, but the small room would have gotten tight with a 6 year old if it did not have such great outdoor spaces. Having access to the years, pool, and playground really helped keep our little one occupied while we stayed here. The room had everything we needed from a selection of plates, mugs, utensils and drinks to get us started. Overall, we highly recommend this stay in Eugene.

Perfect Little

I highly recommend staying here. It’s very clean, smells good, and warm. The owners were great communicators. You get use of their hot tub and pool. Very nice people. I would take this over a hotel room any day! Perfect for 2 people. Bathroom is a bit small but is clean and updated! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place!

Perfect Landing Spot!

Taking my daughter to UofO, and this was the perfect space for me and my husband to return to: clean, modern, comfy. Single room with so much natural light, outdoor sitting area, snacks and drinks to welcome us. We did not use the hot tub - nect time! Just the right amount of space for us. Thanks to our hosts who made it as easy and comforting as possible as we moved our daughter into her new life!

It's so cute, and clean, and nice! And, truly compact.

We loved the Suite Potato. It's very cute and well designed. Everything is nice and clean, and the neighborhood is great. Nice having a fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig. Truly well designed for a very compact space. We bopped all over Eugene while staying there and found it easy to come and go from that location. It was a great stay overall and we recommend it for sure! For us, it did feel very small. I'd call it compact more than cozy. We are average middle-agers, not very large or tall, but not slender either. We met some challenges. A few examples: It was hard for us to move around easily, especially inside the bathroom. The toilet is very close to the facing and side walls and toilet roll. It took some adjusting to make that work. The doorway into the shower and the stall are quite narrow. And the small bathroom sink is the only sink. There are three places to sit that aren't the bed -- two stools and a cushioned pull out chair. We stacked the stools to make room to the side for our small bags. (And one of us sat on the bed the whole time.) We travel with a CPAP. Ensuring it wouldn't get knocked over was tricky. I think for people traveling solo, or two who aren't super tall or large, and don't need to use mobility or sizeable medical devices, it works. It really is VERY nice. If you aren't pretty sure footed, and/or you're super tall or very large, though, it may not be the right fit for you. (We didn't use the hot tub/pool area.) Yay Suite Potato!

I reserved this home for my son and his bride for their wedding night. They said it was very nice. They LOVED the pool. It had a slide and they felt like kids!! The hosts were very nice and accommodating. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for them in the unit. So nice of them.

The Suite Potato is a very nice space in a quiet neighborhood. For me though, the space was a bit too small. I sort of like to unpack and spread out when I get to a place, and I didn’t feel like I could do that here. The hosts were great and communicated just the right amount to see if I needed anything, etc.
