"Lovely hotel however the walls are thin!!!"

"Stayed in room 1. Outside the drainpipe is unacceptable with a large hole in it. There is a very visible large crack going up the wall. The seating in the room is very uncomfortable and requires changing. The room can become very cold. The meals are of good quality and the best part of the stay. The continental breakfast is very poor."

"We enjoyed a short break here, for us it was perfectly situated near the park to walk the dogs. We couldn’t believe how many pots, pans etc there were, plenty to cook a decent meal with.The lodge is really well presented and very comfortable. The beds for some were comfy for others too soft. We would love to return in warmer weather and enjoy the outside space."

"We were told shortly before arriving that there is no bar or restaurant and no breakfast. I'm not sure if the property is still under the OYO brand? The welcome we had was very good but the bathroom had lots of cobwebs and was not very clean"

"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."
