"The owner, Jimmy, was such a delightful and gracious host! He made me feel so welcome and safe! The hotel is like an old fashioned rooming house - not super fancy but perfect for crashing in after a long day of touring around with friends and family. The bedrooms are upstairs and have their own ensuite bathrooms. The fridge/freezer, coffee/tea and microwave facilities are in a shared space in hall between the bedrooms. It was exactly what I needed. Safe, clean, quiet, strong Wi-Fi, working a/c, hot shower all on Main Street in the heart of Cold Spring. Jimmy runs a neighborhood cafe downstairs and is a warm and welcoming presence to all who pass by on the sidewalk. He showed me where to park for free and couldn't have been friendlier. There are literally dozens of cafes, art studios, coffee, pizza and ice cream shops, boutiques and the Hudson River within a a few minutes walk. Thank you, Jimmy!"

"the bathrooms were dirty, the place needs some TLC, the location is right on 9W so convenient but hard to get to unless by car. The place needs some inexpensive upgrades and its amazing what a difference a deep clean would make. sit on the toilet and you see the filth. i recommend a new cleaning service and inspections before guest arrivals. the ONLY thing i felt comfortable using were the towels. the bed sheets were clean but the coverlet and summer blanket had bleach stains (ihope) and were cheap and cheesy. "

"The house was wonderful and has so much charm. It's both modern enough to be comfortable, yet showcases many rustic details of the original build that really gives the forest cabin feeling. Cornwall is a quaint town with lots of local businesses and a eclectic vibe.The house was well stocked on amenities with attention to detail to made the stay seamless. The house was clean and everything worked. The hot tub and fireplace were both standout perks for a winter stay.Leah was responsive and attentive to check in to make sure we didn't need anything. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone!"
