This house is a gem in Estes Park. It is large and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with necessities. There is even a nice cabinet stocked with spices. Central air was excellent and needed after long hikes in heat which we had a few days. Unfortunately, new dishwasher stopped working after 1 load. They sent a handyman to fix and was unable to do so. Not too much of an issue, but disappointed to have to wash dishes when paying for a nice place. They left extra soap for us to do dishes. Bathroom had 4 rolls of paper for 5 days.House is close to town, but we found unable to walk as it requires to walk a road down that has a 10% grade with no sidewalk. After 6:00, parking is free in town. RMNP is a close ride to both entrances.Beds were okay. I would have liked a mattress topper at least. Both beds are only queen size, so when other person rolls, you do too. We were so tired from hiking, didn't bother us too much.Three things we suggest: 1st, in back bedroom, there are no curtains or blinds on back windows. I understand there is forrest area behind the house, but I felt like I was in a fish bowl. More importantly, we were woken up about 5:00 am every morning due to the sun coming in. 2nd, it would be nice to have tvs in bedrooms. 3rd, be careful with kitchen chairs. They have metal wheels on them on tile flooring. Very slippery, the chairs slide out from under you. Overall, I give it 9/10 stars. We loved the area!
