This spectacular A-Frame home offers three stories of spectacular panoramic mountain views along with cozy comfort. With more than 2700 square feet, the focal point of this home is undoubtedly the cathedral ceiling and the 38-foot-tall floor-to-ceiling windows, which frame the mountain peaks perfectly. The first floor holds the living room, open-concept kitchen and dining area with full-sized appliances and a table that seats six. To the right of the kitchen is the laundry room, and down the hallway is a full bathroom and the master bedroom with a king bed and walk-in closet. The door next to the dining table leads out to the spacious deck, with a swinging bench and gas grill. The staircase leads to the lounge area on the second level with comfy seating for everyone. Two bedrooms on this level each have a queen bed, with the bathroom in-between. The third level consists of a cozy loft which features a queen memory-foam sleeper sofa and a stone electric fireplace. Located in a quiet private neighborhood close to downtown Estes Park and just 10 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, Sky View promises to delight every guest. Quiet Time 7p.m. Guest buys own soaps/paper items when provided starter kit items are depleted. Estes Park is a Dark Sky Community. Bring a Flash Light. BEARS in the area - secure trash, lock doors and windows when leaving. This home does not have a weekly trash pick up service. Trash will be picked up at departure. If necessary, trash will be picked up mid-stay for a nominal fee. Call the office at 970-480-8845\. Trash must not overflow the bear proof trash can or be stored in the garage or home. We reserve the right to conduct a property safety check during long term stays. Local On-Call Staff available after hours for emergency issues only, i.e. gas leak, broken furnace, broken water line. Snow removal by HOA or SkyRun depending on property, at 4 inches of new snow. Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit. Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made. Lots of space which was great for our family vacation with 8ppl. Weird lighting, always felt dark even with all lights on. Location was as expected, if we go to Estes again we might try staying closer to the river and shopping area, but it is a quick drive to get into town. There is a little park by the entrance to the area which my kids enjoyed. We saw two elk in this area several times. No air conditioning, which is common in this area, however, the week we stayed was very warm. Was about 10pm before the house was a comfortable temp. Nice deck with swing, furniture and grill. Two refrigerators which was nice to store all the food and drinks we brought along. Coffee maker was broken upon arrival, we didn't have enough wash cloths for everyone to have one and one of the windows didn't lock. The house was spacious, offered fantastic views, was located conveniently close to town, and had an authentic, comfortable, rustic feel perfect for a mountain home. We always enjoy our stay there and the view from the house is magnificent and magical. Enough room for everyone and the “littles” had a blast giggling and playing together at the tot lot. Loved our Family meals around the table and the town was close to home. Lots to do in Estes so take advantage of it. We really enjoyed our stay! Location of the house makes it easy to get to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park. Great views from the living room.
