There are shops and restaurants nearby and Estepona only a short drive away. The beach is not great directly outside the resort, but a short walk to the left takes you to Laguna Beach which is wide and sandy. There are plenty of activities close by -golf courses, dune buggy tours, water parks, places to visit. Whether you want a quiet time or not, this is a great location! We travelled with a teenager , the apartment was absolutely appropriate for this situation as we had 2 bathrooms , 2 restrooms. The Mar Azul is located between Estepona ( center) and Marbella. The concierges working there were quite nice and helped us whenever it was necessary. We had a rental car to be flexible and to be able to go to Gibraltar, Ronda etc... it is close by and worth travelling there as a day trip. We had just a short problem with the television, but our owner of the apartment has arranged everything for us in a short term, moreover, he is very nice and helps if necessary .
