I had to change rooms twice but the whole riad was noisy and the staff were unable to intervene or do much which isn’t their fault however - the management knew this work was going on yet there was no mention of it on the Expedia website!! I could only afford to stay somewhere else for my last night so paid an extra £160 to go to a peaceful hotel so I could sleep and not be driven slowly crazy! The hotel say they couldn’t refund me for the night I didn’t stay because I booked on Expedia !! Not happy. Our room was not the best, the ventilation in the bathroom was broken, the mattress was terrible and so were the pillows. Also the room could have been cleaner. Our bed did not feel clean and had some bits and peaces on the linen. There was dust hanging of the walls. Personal: The staff is very helpful and nice. They helped us with everything we needed. Parking: Even though it says on Expedia that there is parking, this is not really the truth. It's location is right in the centre of the bustling medina so restaurants and interesting shops are everywhere. However we needed to change the duvet covers as they were dirty in both rooms. There was a lack of windows and hence not much ventilation so the bathroom got quite smelly.
