This was an awesome view, right on the Little Bay de Noc on Lake Michigan. The room was really nice, easy to access, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The view was absolutely amazing. I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Having travelled the UP for 10 days, this hotel was the best by far! Restaurant was delicious with great beer selection. The coffee shop downstairs was great too. Would love to see the restaurant open for breakfast but that was the only thing missing.

Its very clean and quiet and the sunrise is beautiful. Coffee shop is right there when you check in and also the restaurant/bar is right there. No complaints i will definitely stay there again.

Looks brand new - the renovations are great! The view from the water side is spectacular, you must watch the sunrise! Overall, it has everything you need and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

We had a lake-front room with a balcony. The sunrise was AWESOME! The dinner at the restaurant on-site was delicious and it also had a wonderful view of the water. We were able to catch a quick breakfast at the on-site Biggby Coffee shop. While we only stayed 1 night, we didn't really utilize much of the other amenities -- indoor pool, hot-tub, walking path, kayaks. But it would be a nice spot for multiple days.

Consider it like two different hotels. One nice hotel has an amazing view of the water. The other (where we stayed), was ground level and looked directly at a parking lot. If you can't book a room with a water view, consider a different location. Comfy bed and clean room, though, so it was still good.

Comfortable bed, very nice sheets. The room was very clean with beautiful views. Ate at the restaurant. Thought the food was very good. We had the walleye. The only only negative was the outside paint and cement needed some touch up.

the views were amazing, but the room smelled bad, like mildew and the furniture was very beat up and stained. there were 2 sinks, but only handsoap at one of them, which was inconvenient. The bar staff was great, the food was expensive and not well prepared...sorry...

The new tower is incredible. I’ve stayed at this motor lodge many times, but was blown away by the rooms in the new tower. Clean , efficient and with incredible views. The price was reasonable as well.

The river view room was amazing. Love sitting on the patio watching the birds on the water. The room is spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Only two things were missing: tissues, and enough outlets to charge electronics.
