I booked last minute due to being stuck due to train cancellations. The property was very close to the train station, market, restaurants, etc. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is onsite laundry facilities as well. The room was spacious and clean. The area was peaceful and safe.

Beautiful property, good location, lots to do, staff is very accommodating - Marjorie at reception was exceptionally helpful, room was very comfortable & peaceful. Lovely setting for a holiday. Breakfast is plentiful and very good - crêpes were delicious. Restaurants use lots of local ingredients and wine from the Estate is very good. Overall a very pleasant experience.

"Due to a mishap with our bus we got to the hotel very late, the receptionist was extremely helpful and tried to get us a taxi and stayed late to let us in. The breakfast was simple but nice and included in the price of the stay."
