Take a stroll to the nearby bathing lake with its sandy beach and try out the water ski centre or the large water slide. Children will love the playgrounds and plenty of space to run around. There are also beautiful cycling and hiking trails through Drenthe's natural surroundings. Take a trip to the towns of Emmen or Coevorden, visit the Wildlands Adventure Zoo or discover the region's typical megalithic tombs.
